Get the beef ramen . The broth is my favorite in the city. Everything else was middle of the road, but good.

One of the BEST ramen bowls I've ever tasted. The broth was so delicious and the chashu was made right, you can taste the mirin used to make it. Even better than when I made it at home. Whenever I pass through St Louis, I'll be eating here again.

Came in for lunch. Ordered for my wife and myself with high hopes because of the reviews. Unfortunately what we were met with was an immature and incomplete experience. For starters, the only employee there was clearly overwhelmed and lacking training/experience. She was kind, but with only 2 other guests in the restaurant, it took her over 50min to complete our very simple rice entre. She seemed flustered and unorganized, and was also not wearing the proper clothing for food service (wearing sandals is a violation of St. Louis health code while preparing food). I would recommend additional staff or more extensive training to help this young lady manage what I would consider to be very minimal expectations. For anyone curious I am a tenured sous chef so I am speaking from a depth of knowledge. I would gladly invite any communication with ownership to rectify the situation and/or provide more details about the embarrassing experience.

Weren’t many people in 2:15 but that was ok. Food came out at a decent speed, was hot. The thai milk tea was a little thinner than I’m used to but was good. I’m mostly thankful for the waitress— I’m pregnant and had a wave of nausea while eating and had to switch seats to find relief. She inquired and brought me water and taught me a new hack to curb nausea— squeeze and smell a lemon. Thanks a bunch! It helped. I’d be back but wouldn’t get the Thai tea.

I normally don’t write reviews, and this might actually be my first one! After finishing dinner at Hitea, one of the employees kindly asked if I was happy with the service and if I’d be willing to write a review—so here I am. Honestly, I'm Vegan and I had a great experience(rare). The food was flavorful, portions were generous, and the atmosphere was cozy. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the positive vibe. Overall, I left feeling satisfied and would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Had dinner at Hitea with my friend and overall, it was a pretty solid experience. The meal was filling and hit the spot, with good portion sizes for the price. The flavors were enjoyable, though not particularly memorable, but definitely satisfying for a casual dinner. It’s a no-fuss kind of spot—nothing fancy, but if you’re in the area and need a decent bite, this place hits

I had the rice at Hitea during my lunch visit. The dish was straightforward, with a good mix of ingredients. The rice was cooked well. It’s a decent option if you're looking for something filling and uncomplicated. The portion size was appropriate for a midday meal. Overall, it's a reasonable choice if you’re in the area and want something quick and easy.

I stopped by Hitea for a quick lunch and was surprised by the quality of the food. The menu offers a nice mix of dishes, and what I tried was flavorful and satisfying(sorry i don't remember what it was called, but it was some kind of thick noodle). The atmosphere is laid-back, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. It’s not a place that will necessarily stand out in a big way, but it’s definitely a reliable option if you’re in the area and craving some good food. Worth a visit if you're nearby.

I recently dined at Hitea in the Central West End and was impressed with the quality of the food. The spicy chicken udon was a standout, with chicken and a broth that had just the right amount of heat. I also tried the Oreo cream brown sugar boba milk, which was a delightful combination of creamy and sweet. The flavors were well-balanced, making for a satisfying meal overall. If you're looking for tasty Japanese cuisine, Hitea is a great choice.

I had a fantastic lunch at Hitea in the Central West End! The tonkotsu ramen was incredibly flavorful, with a rich broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The boba tea was spot on, with just the right amount of sweetness, and I loved that they use real milk. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a great spot for delicious Japanese cuisine and refreshing drinks. Highly recommend!

It was a bit warmer inside than expected, especially for such an already hot day, but the employees were kind, helpful, and friendly. I didn't have the food from this particular location in the cwe, but I'll be trying it out in the near future. As with most Hi-Tea locations, the fruit teas are lovely, and the environment was eye-catching.
