Waited 1.5 hours for delivery and never got it. No communication telling us we wouldnt be getting our order. When we called, their answering machine said they were closed despite it not being closing time yet. We never got our money back either. How is this company still in business??

Walked in and wasn’t greeted by worker, stood there for 2 minutes & all she said was “the screen is frozen and I can’t take any orders” and turned around and left the counter. Leaving two parties in confusion and we eventually left.

This location does not accept cash and their credit card reader didn't work, forcing us to order online. That process took entirely too long so we left without cookies.

This is a cookie cake that I ordered and received from Hot Box Cookies on S. Grand in St. Louis. When I arrived, on time, my order was not ready. Not only was it not ready, the staff presented very agitated and were debating the validity of me actually placing my on line order. Once they “found” my cake, they began to complain that the ”day shift” failed to write on the cake and that it was not their job to do this. After much discussion, staff wrote, very sloppy, and obviously using the wrong tip, “Happy Friends-giving”. This was distasteful, and inconvenient. As a result I was 60 min late to my event that I had to show up with this, mess. I will not be returning to this location.

The guy who answered the phone was nice but he isn't the delivery person. WE NEVER RECEIVED COOKIES!! And we literally lived less than 5 minutes from the store. I called 3 times over the course of 2+ hours & the kid that answered the phone finally told me he couldn't get ahold of the delivery driver. $36 dollars worth of cookies that I NEVER RECEIVED. I WANT A REFUND IMMEDIATELY. I will never order from HOT BOX again.I ordered from Insomnia Cookies & got my delivery in 30 minutes- & they're 10 minutes away!!

It's pretty casual with the employees and the interior is just the counter and the kitchen. The cookies, though, are delectable. Fantastic flavors and you can actually taste the flavors. They're the perfect sweetness.

If you pickup hot box it’s great, but delivery was a different story. I get it was a Monday night, but if someone orders for delivery, let that person know ASAP that there’s no delivery driver so they would have to pick up or cancel. Not 1.5 hours later at the time when your order was supposed to arrive… pretty disappointed ☹️

Loved the look of the place, its atmosphere, and the staff!? The cookies however were "doughy" to me but someone else may love it. Try it for yourself!?

I placed an online order at 130pm cst and it was scheduled to be delivered by 245pm. It never came so I called the store and spoke to the rudest , most impatient assistant manager ever. She was complaining about their systems and then was like call tomorrow and talk to the manager. I said I have to wait to get my money back, she snaps at me and says you interrupted me. I said I understand you're frustrated because of the systems but and she then said "Girl hmph" and hung up. I called back immediately she is ignoring my calls but answered my call from my sisters phone, I didn't interact with her I just got the managers name

They don't pay u for working for them said I still waiting to get paid. They keep sending my money to the wrong account so they don't have to pay I well never pay cookies from them are work for the at the location at the central west end. They so unprofessional they won't call me about the issue.

The cookies were just OK; my daughter and I were both underwhelmed. I wondered why they were so floppy. It seemed like they were slightly underbaked. My biggest problem was with the service. The young woman working the counter did not speak a single word to me. No welcome to the store, no thank you when I paid; she didn't even bother to tell me how much I owed, instead deciding to flip her computer screen over to show me the total. If she had laryngitis or something I could have understood not speaking to a customer, but she just came across as incredibly rude.

Good cookies, and normally I love this place, but I ordered milk with my cookies and while it was listed as not expiring for another month, it tasted kinda funny. Powered through my glass, and there was large chunks at the bottom of the glass. Not sure how it had gone bad, but was grossed out.
