Find another hotel! This hotel overbooked and now my wife, daughter and mother in-law have to sleep in one bed or sleep on the floor. UNBELIEVABLE!! We booked months ago and now most of the rooms have angry customers due to overbooking during a volleyball tournament. Go somewhere else where they care!

Stayed here with my significant other we both thoroughly enjoyed our room and the staff was amazing. Roof top bar was closed to our disappointment. Would like to see the downstairs bar open longer in the off season. DO NOT bring your car or expect to pay $50 a day for valet. No other real parking options. Over all great visit and would suggest to others without vehicles

An absolutely GORGEOUS hotel! But..We stayed at Hotel St. Louis for just one night. Location is very good, and we walked in and were blown away at the workmanship and beauty of the lobby. There is a hotel bar, and the food smelled wonderful, though we didn’t stop in.We valeted the car, and Pila helped us with our bags and took us to Drummond at the front desk. We shared a laugh, and Drummond got us a gorgeous room! On the way up, Pila discussed the history of the building, being an old bank building. Ownership spent a great deal of time on the beauty of this old building, and it shows. I can’t say enough how gorgeous it is. Hopefully the neighbors step up their game! The room was odd shaped, but also equally as beautiful. The bed and pillows VERY comfortable, and we had a wardrobe closet in addition to what I guess could be a coat closet. Plenty of storage for a longer stay. The main TV was a big screen, with full DirecTV on it, so if you’ve got it at home, you won’t have problems finding your channels! The bathroom immaculate, with a bidet, TV in the mirror, and and an absolutely HUGE shower area with a separate tub for soaking and body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The tile work was absolutely gorgeous. All positives!! Now the downside. We caught an Uber to a local casino. We didn’t win, but we had a great time, but smelled like smoke when we returned. I turned on the shower, and to say it was “low flow” would be completely accurate but also an insult as I think it was closer to “no flow” than “low flow”. There was a separate shower wand and overhead waterfall showerhead, but the trickle that came from it was barely enough to stay wet. Once you did get wet, evaporation cooled you off instantly, the water was unable to warm the shower space (did I mention how HUGE it was?!? It’s a BEAUTIFUL shower… until you turn it on), so you’re cold in your shower. Shampoo wouldn’t rinse out of your hair with the shower, and soap wouldn’t flow off your body. In addition to that, housekeeping put hair conditioner in the soap dispenser, so I had to go out of the shower, a little moist and now cold, to get the soap I brought. So, to get clean, I put probably 25-30 gallons of water in the tub, got all soapy, then jumped in to the tub to rinse off, keeping the tub water running to get my head under it to rinse out the shampoo and conditioner. I like a good shower when I travel. I understand the push for efficiency and the now-normal “low flow” shower heads in hotels. It’s all about conservancy, right? Well, this shower is actually the opposite because running the tub to get in and rinse off head and body probably wasted 4x the amount of water I would’ve used from a regular shower head. It’s a small pet-peeve, but it will change my mind if this is the only property available to me in this area.Shout-out’s. Drummond was a fantastic front-desk agent. He’s funny and has a real knack for welcoming people! If I ran a hotel, I’d hire him in a heartbeat! Pila helped us with our bags in and out, he knows the history of this place and has fantastic stories! A very likeable gentleman!!But if you want to be clean for an event, or want to shower to wash off your day, I’m sorry, I’m going to say “pass” on this property. It hurts me, too, because I LOVE the time and quality workmanship put into this old building. I want to love this place, but that shower and then having to climb into the tub really turned me off.

We are very DISSATISFIED with this motel, playing as an elegant Marriott AC. Staff is LAZY! Lazy is the theme!!!! Housekeeping, LAZY, Bar tenders are thieves. Staff ignores requests, three hour response from texting, Valet asleep at the desk… not joking!!! However this only pertains to the evening staff….just the evening and housekeeping! Evening staff is lazy! Housekeeping literally has zero clue how to clean. We had a dirty room with the previous customers receipts on the floor, hair, finger prints on the mirror, hair on the floor. Please don’t stay at the lipstick pig! Management is setting this property up to be yet another condemned building.

This hotel was amazing. A great location of the downtown. The rooms were nice, and the lobby had a really fancy and luxury feel to it. It was awesome. Also loved the huge stained glass mosaic above the lobby. The only issue that kind of creeped me out is that we were sandwiched between 2 crumbling, abandoned buildings.Still a great hotel though, worth the extra money.
