This place has got to be the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to hands-down! The food was just so horrible and bland, I couldn’t hardly chew it down. I ended up spending $20 for lunch or and I regret every second I waited for the food! I will never go back to this place ever in my life I nor would I ever recommend this place to anybody ever!

I have to say this is a really traditional Chinese cuisine. The taste is delicious. I think it’s one of top 3 best traditional Chinese restaurants in St. Louis. Before I went there, I only think Cafe Zone and Corner 17 are two best traditional Chinese food in St. Louis. Hunan wok gave me a surprise! Before I went in Hunan wok, I had never expected anything good to experience due to humble appearance of the storefront. However, the taste and cuisine gave me surprise! They even have 东北油豆角(I don’t know English name but first call it Northeast oil bean) which is a very delicious bean from Northeast China and it’s really my first time to see it in the United States although I have been in US for many years. I saw some costumes who have been there said it’s unsanitary, I don’t know that because it was my first time to be there, and it looks good for me, at least from the three cuisines I ordered, they looked very clean. If it’s true as individual costumes said, I suggest the boss of the restaurant to improve, then I think the business will be much more better, because the food itself is really good! I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant!

Veggie Lo Mein was decent, but the Cashew Chicken was pretty awful. The FOH woman was nice, however the place was empty and I couldn't wait to leave.
