Authentic Taste: I had the cookies and cream bubble tea and a taro shaved ice (by myself, don’t judge), and I enjoyed both. The bubble tea reminds me of Taiwan. as the boba tastes fresh with perfect texture and chewiness. The shaved ice can easily be shared among 2 people as a fun snack.
Friendly Employees: The owners are very friendly and answer questions. If you know the flavor, texture, and ingredients you want, you can ask them to customize it for you or recommend something.
The only con - Menu Design: The menu could be simplified as there are too many options. It was very overwhelming to read at first so I went with my regular "Taro" and "Cookies and Creams" flavors. But like I said, the employees are very friendly so that made it less intimidating.
10/10 would come back.

This is probably the only place in St. Louis where you can get 100% authentic Taiwanese shaved ice. It tastes exactly the same as in Taiwan. It's a little expensive but at least you don't have to go to Chicago to get it.

I am a regular at this place! The shaved ice is incredible (taste and texture) -- my personal favorite is Taro with *cherry boba instead. Staff is friendly and it never takes more than a few minutes. They also have great hours and I like that they are open until a bit later so we can stop by during the summer months for some delicious dessert!

We just randomly googled shaved + ice + St. Louis at 7:43 PM on a Sunday night and our lives became forever better. My children were so bitter that we were not getting ice cream, but they definitely met their match with this place. It is a Taiwanese twist on what we think of as shaved ice (I think they use condensed milk?) that results in is delicate slivers curled into layers of deliciousness. The price is reasonable; the staff is friendly and accommodating; and the shaved ice is amazing. We are so excited to have them in the CWE.

A very adorable and VEGAN friendly boba tea/ Taiwanese shaved ice in Central West End area. I really liked that their menu is very clear about dairy and non-dairy items. Small space but good vibe. Service was phenomenal. The girls working here were super sweet. I got the mango paradise ( mango and pineapple shaved ice with fresh mango and condensed milk on the side). It's very fruity and the sweetness was just right to my liking. I absolutely loved it. I want to try their dairy base ( taro/matcha) next time I come here. We also got the wheel cake with custard, but you can choose other fillings such as red bean or custard with Oreo.I also grabbed a sea salt matcha cream foam with green tea base to go. Overall, I was very happy with all of my orders tonight. Street parking can be tricky due to location in CWE. We definitely will come back again. Highly recommend!

Welcome to the Ice Cave in the Central West End. This is a Taiwanese shaved ice spot to grab a treat and hang out. The ambience is adorable with a vegetation wall and plenty of seating.They make everything from scratch as soon as you order so the wait is worth it. I got the Caramel Snow which was lovely. They use seasonal fruits readily available in grocery stores and combine them with handmade ice cream finely shaved with their customized machine.All of their treats are made without any trans-fats or preservatives.
