“This location can definitely use some updating. But the staff seems to work with what they have. That’s not the purpose of this review. This review is for Mandy. I arrived about 11:30 with my son on a very busy Sunday morning. Several parties waiting. For seating. People waiting to be listed to wait. A few servers brewing by here and there. And then Mandy came to check the list and get things updated and people seated. Once my son and I were in Mandy’s care we were in good hands. I watched Mandy greet each customer with a smile and a lovely charm in the midst of a very busy morning. She was kind, swift, and courteous. Thank you Mandy!“
“Great food and service was good except our server was given a gift card but I asked for him to check it and he came back and said it had $20 on it. I knew it had $25 so I looked at the bill and he had not taken any of it off of the bill. I told him to check it again and he came back and said it did have $25 on it. He was going to pocket and extra $5 above what I would tip and I tip well usually. He still got $5 but I would have given him $10 on a $31.00 bill just because I know they need it. Dishonesty does not pay!“
“This was an older IHOP with a blue a-frame roof and smaller than the new ones. The restaurant was like 50 away from I-170, so it was an urban feel. The restrooms were accessible through the kitchen, which was unusual. The food was good and the service was friendly. A very nostalgic IHOP.“
