Rude service, they tried to charge us twice. Once online and another oncer we arrived. My name was repeatedly given and they denied having the order. I ordered 8 wings and they gave the incorrect amount. Won't order from here again.

I was completely disappointed in the food. I ordered 5 Irie Fyah wings with a side of cabbage and a side of jerk sauce. My first and last time ordering with them. The wings were so small and was not worth the price. They looked like little baby hen wings. Not chicken wings. They were not freshly cooked, was hard, and tasted stale. The cabbage tasted pretty good though but I had to throw the wings in the garbage. My kids love wings and they wouldn't even eat them. There is not a lot of Jamaican joints in St Louis but this one I would stay away from unless you are cool with wasting your money because that is exactly what happened to me. Save yourself the disappointment.

These high Google ratings are lies detected! This food is terrible and expensive! Service was slow for the low quality food that I received. Normally when you go into a restaurant you can smell the food...it didn't even smell like a restaurant, I should've known then. I ordered the jerk chicken wings with cabbage, the rice come with it and a cake with no onions in anything. What I got was 6 tiny baby chic wings with bloody like meat that was old and tasted nasty and they put onions on my wings the cabbage was hard and dry and rice was not Cajun and they forgot to give me my cake! All the food was flavorless old and nasty I was scared of getting food poisoning so I threw it all away! And they are expensive and give a little food. I hate I stepped foot in there! This is the worst jamaican restaurant I've ever been too and whoever cooking CANNOT cook..unbelievable SMHParking: the parking is located on the side of the building and it's terrible as it's extremely tight and hard to maneuver. I had to reverse into the street to get out!

The food was definitely trash cabbage was too hard and the chicken was dry. The sauces were either overly potent or under potent. Would not waste my money there ever again.Parking: The parking lot is dangerous and hard to get out of.

Irie Eats is a small family owned Jamaica inspired restaurant located in Uptown St. Louis, Missouri. This was the first time my wife and I had eaten at this establishment, and from the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. They had Reggae music playing just loud enough to set chill vibes' atmosphere. The restaurant isn't that big, so a party of 10 or more would make the place seem crowded. My wife tried their Ox Tails, and I tried the Curry Goat, which all entries there comes with a side of rice and beans and cabbage. I must say, in my opinion, the cabbage was a miss for me and my wife. It seemed to be lacking seasoning to make it flavorful. The rice and beans would have also had some seasoning issues as well, but their saving grace was that I added them to my curry goat broth, and it brought them to life. The highlight of my meal was the curry goat, as was the ox tails for my wife. They both were well seasoned and savory. I made my own stereotype assumptions thinking that all Jamaican food was prepared spicy and had my mouth ready for a Caribbean spice punch that never happened. When asked, I was told that you have to let them know that you want it spicy, and they'll make the adjustment for you.Overall, the meal was just ok, being that the sides fell short of complimenting the main meal. I do feel that the price was a little on the high side at about $20 for my goat plate and around $24 for my wife's ox tail plate ??‍♂️. If we do go back, I would definitely like to retry the meal with a little spice added to see how it would bring the plate to life.Parking: Side of building parking is very limited and tight. I would avoid going in a big SUV or pickup truck if possible. There is only one way in, so you have to drive down a small hill and through the back of the buildings to get out and back to the main road.

Quant little restaurant, clean with good music. It appears to be family owned, the daughter is very nice & attentive she took our orders and made sure we had refills on our drinks. I got the Oxtail it was divine! The meat was extremely tender and juicy and very savory. I was pleased with my visit and will be back.

I recently tried a new restaurant instead of my usual Jamaican spot, and it was a disappointing experience. Despite placing an order at 7:25 pm with an estimated pickup time between 8:10 pm and 8:20 pm, we arrived on time only to be told it would take another 15 minutes. After waiting in the cold for 13 minutes, I received a text notifying me that they had canceled my order. The service fell short of expectations, and the communication was frustrating.

It was ok. Oxtails were cooked good. I was surprised to see on a Thursday at lunch time there was only one person in the restaurant. Didn’t take long to get the food. Maybe 5 minutes. Give it a try.

There only 2 places I go out to get real Jamaican food! That should tell you enough, being raised by a jamaican family..I know what I talm bout! The flavors of perfection, the love n care put into the preparation. And finally the blissful Irie sensations as you take a bite...so don't eat to fast!Parking: You'll find parking along side the building, behind the building or across the street. Either way the food is worth it!
