Was going to order delivery through chownow.. which was the first frustrating thing because I had never even heard of this until I called the restaurant.. second I always order a bunch of bacon and side of sausage and neither of these items were even on the menu on the app.. honestly the food is always good and would recommend it.. however to the management, I would say use a service people have actually heard of for one, and two, have the full menu on whatever app you do chose to use.

This cafe is located downtown next to a hotel and isn't hard to spot either. When I walked in and went to look at the menu I was greeted by a cook with a warm and friendly smile. Me and my husband ordered the California Croissant and it's basically a regular bacon egg and cheese croissant but just with added avocado. These are not that big in size, kind of small in my opinion, but the flavor was there and we enjoyed it. $5.99 for each one which is pretty decent. If I returned I would probably get something else with it as well.

Good place to have a coffee with good quality, tasty sandwich and really good pastries. The only con is, the cafe doesn't have waffles and pancakes, but I still recommend the place, is really good.

Came to takeaway breakfast on a weekday. Ordered a ham egg & cheese croissant sandwich and a veggie omelette with cheese and an iced coffee.Pleasantly surprised the omelette came with hash browns they were yummy. The omelette was overcooked for me and it didn’t have spinach inside as I requested. The ham croissant sandwich was yummy. Great iced coffee! I’d definitely come back for lunch

Sign was on and door was open so I came in and was reading the menu when a woman behind the counter rudely asked what I was doing. She said they didn’t open until 7 (checked my phone and it was 6:50) and that was why the lobby lights were off (I just assumed no dine in). I told her the sign was on and door was open so I assumed it was open but just left due to the attitude, she came over and locked the door I came in, I guess for another 8 minutes until they actually opened?

Love the extensive breakfast menu here! I was thrilled to see they offered gluten free bread on their menu. The logo, signage, and decor inside is a bit dated, but the rave reviews speak for themselves. The service here is very friendly and fast. I decided to take to go, but there are quite a few tables here and lots of breakfast and lunch options made to order or ready to go. I ordered a ham, cheese, and egg breakfast sandwich on gluten free bread, and unfortunately, I realized after I had left for takeout that they forgot the egg and hadn't toasted the bread. I ended up with a ham and cheese sandwich, which was still good but missing some key breakfast elements!

Avocado toast is fire! Food is great. Wonderful coffee. The background music was great old rock.

I get lunch here once or twice a month and it is a great option in downtown St. Louis. Most sandwiches and wraps come with a side which makes the meal a good value. I especially love the wraps and their house made Caeser salad dressing. The online ordering is easy to use and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

The omelet and basic breakfast we got to eat in were very average but where Java Plus stood out was our to go order. Placed it the night before and it was ready a few minutes early - super easy pickup and everything was correct, even included silverware and napkins! Breakfast sandwich, breakfast wrap, and chicken Caesar wrap were tasty and easy to eat on the go.
