We had a group of 21. I called & asked if they could handle this. Yes, but didn't ask for my name,# or time. I called two more times. We got there & nothing was set up. Our guys started putting tables together & the woman there got her nose way out of joint. We never could get them to put enough tables together to seat 21 so we went outside. Our guys put tables together. A waiter came out & took drink order...not asking who belonged together. He wanted to put it all on one ticket. Half hour later we got drinks. Another half hour before orders were taken. They made the wrong order for one woman twice. She nicely said she would eat whatever they made the last time. One of our guys had his arm in a sling. His chair leg was so rusted that it broke & he landed on the ground. He wasn't offered a free beer, lunch or anything. One of our other guys went around checking chairs & pulled two more out.Maybe they can handle two people? Don't ever go there with a large group

We came here on an impromptu date night, and it was great! Plenty of parking, lots of seats and lots of St. Louis decor. Food all looked good and we had a hard time picking. Chose to get the appetizer sampler and a custom double decker pizza. We picked meatballs, fresh garlic, artichoke hearts and pepperocinis. Lots of leftovers! Everything tasted great and paired well with a couple of beers. Our server did a great job of getting g us what we needed and giving us space to enjoy it. Very friendly and helpful! We are looking forward to coming back soon and trying the sandwiches and salads!

The pizza we had was only average in quality. Have had better. The salad & appetizers were good. Our server was a real sweetheart , she checked on us often & always kept our drinks full. The service was top notch...

Taste of Chicago First time here for lunch. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered two Chicago hot dogs that came with all the normal fixings and a side dish, and the Italian beef sandwich with super spicy giardiniera and a side dish. The Italian beef sandwich was about a foot long and four inches wide. I had it "dunked" and highly recommend it. The waitress said some customers get it with the grilled onions, grilled peppers, and mozzarella - I will definitely try that next time because the giardiniera was just a bit too spicy for me. Both of our lunches were hot, freshly made, and a taste of heaven, a taste of Chicago. We told the waitresss we were originally from Chicago and she said a lot of the family recipes here came from Chicago and the pizza is made with 100% mozzarella. We saw a lot of customers getting pizza and salad (they were huge) which looked amazing. We plan to try that next time!

First time there, and unfortunately, it'll be the last. Super crowded, booths and tables are too small and you feel like your right on top of the table next to you. The spinach pasta our friend ordered was delivered without the sauce, just starchy pasta stuck together in a clump with no flavor at all. My husband and I split double decker pizza and the crust was almost burned. Server and what I assume was manager, continued to case our table, coming multiple times to remove anything including napkins and utensils literally as soon as we finished it as if they were rushing us to finish and leave because of people waiting. Not a good experience at all.

We go to JJ Twigs quite often and the food and service is always good. This afternoon we decided to get lunch out. We stopped by to get their Buffalo chicken dip and a pepperoni pizza. The dip came out looking good and we started eating it. I hit something with my dipping chip and saw that it was weird looking. I pulled out a piece of soft plastic about 2 inches long. We got the waitress and she saw it and asked if we wanted a replacement. We said ok but a few seconds later our pizza came out so we cancelled the dip. The waitress came back and said the manager took the dip off of our bill. That was nice since we didn't get any. We never saw the manager or owner. The waitress did apologize for the situation. We normally don't expect anything free but it would have been nice for the manager or the owner to stop by and apologize for the incident. Watch your food since the manager nor owner care about their customers.

I arrived to eat and waited for more than an hour, I realized that they were serving other people their meals, and the waitress that was my turn was chatting in the kitchen, terrible service.

Their service and pizza was phenomenal! Highly recommend their pizza! The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back here again!

I enjoy JJ Twig's laid-back atmosphere. It has become one of my favorite work weeks is done, time to unwind places. Good buffalo wings, too.

Loved the crew and place. Love the spin on pie pizza and available honey for a unique spin on pizza. Sausage pizza, wings, and salad were above average.

Some good food, fun atmosphere, but just so-so service, and other food was average to meh. The chicken taquitos were GREAT! Definitely recommend those for an appetizer. The seasonal fruit and spinach salad was very disappointing. Tons of spinach, with long stems making it hard to eat, and the only fruit were about eight grapes scattered throughout the dish. The Italian beef sandwich was alright--lots of meat, topped with onions and green peppers (which we weren't told were extra), on a decent hoagie roll. However, the meat was not very flavorful, and was so plentiful as to make it hard to eat this "sandwich" without a fork. Our server seemed to be new, and made several mistakes in telling us about the menu. Plus, he didn't seem to really know, or want to find out about things--like what types and flavors of seltzers they had--"I think we might have", instead of "let me check". And he didn't seem very personable at all. We tried to joke with him, and he just didn't catch on ever.
