Food was great and they give you your money's worth. Shared a salad and Spaghetti and had plenty left to take home. Worth stopping there if your in south county

Normally I would have given Joey B's a 5 star review because in the past it was always great but this last visit the food was a little bit off for some reason but still good. Our waitress was very slow and she seemed overwhelmed because the rest of the staff were jamming. I will go back and hopefully be able to update this review with a 5 star.

Every time that I come to the establishment, I try and give them chances. It’s either long wait times bad service or the food is cold well tonight it just happened to be all three of those. I called in to have a to go order. Got there to pick up my food when I realized that I had left my wallet at home. They said they don’t accept Apple Pay. So I told them that I would give them my debit card number, I know it by heart. The manager then stated that they needed to see my ID and a picture of the card with my name on it. I asked if I had paid over the phone you wouldn’t have asked or been able to get my ID. I would have paid over the phone but wasn’t given the option. If I had been we wouldn’t be even in this situation then if I had been asked how I wanted to pay when I ordered. It all could’ve been avoided. I asked if I could take my food home while it was fresh and when I got home I would call and give her the number. That wasn’t acceptable. So I called my girlfriend at home, had her locate my wallet have her send me pictures of my ID in my debit card. Mind you I am in my work uniform that has a name badge with my first and last name on it. I asked for my food to be remade so it could be hot for my family when I got home. The food came back out in 10 minutes. This was the same food I had just given back to be remade. Manager even confirmed it as she scoffed when she handed it to me and I said there’s no way. I left and contacted the gm. I hope to hear from them and hope they make it right.
So update, been waiting but never got reimbursed. Also found out they didn’t cook the food fresh, all they did was reheat the food again making it even more overcooked and less appealing to eat. Beyond ridiculous for the service they give and the prices they charge to give subpar food

The most rude waitress. They hide in the back then cop an attitude when you walk over to them. Horrible customer service.

food was great! service was ok I would of given more stars for service however we had quite a few issues regarding our waiter. after asking for quite a few things more than once (refills/grated cheese/condiments/bread/etc) we never received them, even after repeated attempts! It was another employee who brought our food to our table after we heard her tell him that it was up as he was watching a game on TV. I'm usually pretty understanding as I can understand the pressure of juggling multiple tables orders and requests however it was extremely slow for the time of day and he was like 12ft away from us watching TV and turning it up so loud it became hard to hold a conversation with my party I had lunch with.

Met a group here. Table was big enough for our group. Friendly staff. Located in a strip mall with large parking lot

Don’t come to Concord (SoCo) for the fried chicken! Tortellini, wings, pizza, and almost everything else I’ve had here is fantastic. But the fried chicken special on Sunday and Tuesday? Go to KFC if you want better chicken. It’s the main reason I go to Joey B’s on Sun & Tue, but their cook times are the worst. I’ve been going to The Hill for a few months after telling several of the staff and management, at Concord, that their cooks are overcooking the chicken. I thought I’d give Concord (SoCo) another chance today and I was very disappointed! Chicken was overcooked and dried out. Gravy was as thick as milk… I just can’t anymore. I’ll continue to drive the extra 20 mins to The Hill location to get some good fried chicken. I just don’t understand why, if you’re promoting this as a special to draw people in, why would you make it so unappetizing?!?
And before you ask, no I did not complain this time. I come from food service and only send food back if it’s inedible. It wasn’t worth the price I paid but it was still edible. I’ve noted to several of the staff in the past so this problem should have been fixed by now… Evidently they just don’t care
