The atmosphere is full of character and history. Donuts were perfect. Not that sticky donut feel, the donuts glazed perfectly and the inside super soft. Unfortunately, my first visit felt rushed and a bit cold — the woman helping me was pushy and not very welcoming, which took away from the experience. I’d consider giving it another try, but it wasn’t a great first impression.

Don’t believe the hype—there isn’t a better donut in St. Louis. Honestly, I’d put them up against all of Missouri, maybe the entire Midwest. I miss those late-night pre-COVID runs to John’s, but the recipe hasn’t changed, and it’s still unbeatable. Thank you, John’s!

I have a co-worker that will bring in donuts from John's & they are by far the best donuts. They are light & not dense. They have the best flavor to the actual donuts. The cinnamon twist is my favorite. I've never been to John's personally but hands down the best donuts. Keep up the great work!!
