The atmosphere is full of character and history. Donuts were perfect. Not that sticky donut feel, the donuts glazed perfectly and the inside super soft. Unfortunately, my first visit felt rushed and a bit cold — the woman helping me was pushy and not very welcoming, which took away from the experience. I’d consider giving it another try, but it wasn’t a great first impression.
We tried it for the first time today, and it was excellent! The donuts were fresh, there was lots of variety too. It was great price. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was awesome!
Don’t believe the hype—there isn’t a better donut in St. Louis. Honestly, I’d put them up against all of Missouri, maybe the entire Midwest. I miss those late-night pre-COVID runs to John’s, but the recipe hasn’t changed, and it’s still unbeatable. Thank you, John’s!
