Did not eat here but the private karaoke room is so fun! The server was also so nice
I wanted hot pot and they delivered. Authentic Korean, very fair prices. We will return!

I'd never had Korean food before, but I always wanted to try it because I watch a lot of Korean TV. Well, this restaurant did not disappoint! That food was delicious! And I will be back to sample more of the menu.

We ordered black pork BBQ and japchae. That was delicious! The pork with Rosemary smelled great and tasted good. I'm surprised that the pork didn't smell not fresh! I loved you can order small food plates comes with BBQ as much as you want. And one order of BBQ is enough to be full for 2 people. Japchae's noodle was chewy and had savory flavor that you can't make at home. Staff were all kind, even one worker cooked BBQ meat for us when we were eating. I guess she did so not to burn the meat. How nice! We will come back to this place for sure.

Joo Joo is one of my top 3 restaurants in the great STL area.
Food is amazing, but what’s beyond the food is their service.
I’ve visited here couple times. And about 3~4 months ago, I ordered a takeout, and they forgot to include Milkis. So, I called them about this, and they said they’d keep a note/record for me.
Last night, I visited there again, and they really kept the note. It was really touching. I wouldn’t be surprised if they have forgotton the note cuz it’s been quite a while. But thanks for making my night. 감사합니다!!

Wow, this is absolutely delicious. I think this might be the only place in the U.S. where you can find such high-quality, truly authentic Korean food. I feel lucky to have Joojoo nearby

The place itself is good, the atmosphere and service was great. The food is okay. However, the food is slightly overpriced, definitely could get something better with bigger portions elsewhere.

Got two hotpot bowls and they were huge. Flavour was not bad though. Also got the soft tofu bowl which had a unique taste to it, it was slightly sweet (maybe from the gochujang?) but wasn't too bad.
It was really busy and we wanted to do karaoke but they were all booked.
Overall, food and service was okay. Might come back to try the Korean BBQ next time.

Had one of my finest experiences at a korean restaurant here. Very pleasantly surprised. Was in dallas texas recently, and was sadly disappointed at 3 different Korean establishments there, all of them in their koreatown area.
A friend and I had dinner at joo joo on a Sunday evening. We ordered 3 dishes. Yuk gae jang (spicy beef soup), baby octopus and pork belly stir fry, and jajangmyeon (black bean noodles). Honestly, all three dishes were spot on. The yuk gaejang broth and the stir fry sauce were some of the best I've had. The black bean sauce was good too. I'm used to pork for the protein, ours had octopus, which was still good. The side dishes were pretty standard, but all were good. Special mention to the braised potatoes - they were fabulous. I wish they brought out some radish kimchi (they may have had it, but we didnt ask, as we had so much food already).
Not only was the food wonderful, we were equally impressed with the service. The wait staff were friendly and attentive to our needs throughout the night, and took the time to answer questions and explain what everything was and how to eat them. This quality of service wasnt something i normally expect, so we were pleasantly surprised. Props to the staff. Perhaps a reflection on management.
Wished we would have taken some photos of the dishes to post. Top honors to joo joo, they have their stuff together. Highly recommended.
