Joyful House is a MUST try! ?Have you heard that restaurants attached to grocery stores are the best hidden gems?! Joyful House definitely lives up to this expectation! My Favs:#4 Goi Cuon: Fresh Spring Rolls (PRO-TIP: these are made to order, so you can request just shrimp or just pork)#42 Lau Canh Chua: Sweet & Sour Soup Hot Pot#39 Stir Fried Chili Tofu&& they have Boba Tea!!

I recently discovered this place while I was door-dashing, so it was a very happy accident. ?It looked so good that I came back after I was finished and got myself and my kids some bubble tea and some other stuff for my husband. Everything was delicious! The counter to order if you're not dining in is in the back of the grocery store. They have some premade, and wrapped plates that you can buy as well. Service was very friendly, and the drinks I asked for were made in a very timely manner. All in all - highly recommended.Be aware that they are not open all week round. I believe they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 11am to 8pm or something like that.Parking: So the parking lot was actually a little difficult to find because the building is set back further on the lot and the building next to it is closer to the street, so you may miss your turn. However, you can also access their parking lot even if you accidentally turn into the the other lot.

Great service attentive and quick. The family meal is wonderful for 2+ people at a great price. You can really tell they pride themselves in the cooking because it is so delicious and fresh. The sugar cane drink is the best tasting and very authentic. Great portions, clean and welcoming atmosphere. This will be my go to for Vietnamese cuisine from now on and I will be sure to let my friends and family know.

Located in the heart of Dutchtown South City St. Louis, Joyful House Restaurant is an excellent Vietnamese spot. Recently renovated, the restaurant boasts a clean and unassuming atmosphere, perfect for casual dining. The layout is simple yet functional, with tables spread throughout an open area, creating a communal vibe. The menu offers an expansive array of Vietnamese dishes, ensuring something for everyone. We had…1. Fresh Spring Rolls with Shrimp2. Black Peppered Shrimp & Rice3. Seafood Hot Pot4. Catfish Hot Potand much more…Each dish is highlighted the vibrant flavors and fragrant herbs that define Vietnamese cuisine. In addition to the delicious food, the service at Joyful House Restaurant was attentive and friendly. There were 5 of us so Ky had his hands full! He took excellent care of us.

I got the Passion Fruit Green Tea and the Bun Thit Nuong Chia Gio (subbed meat with Tofu instead). It was a really delicious and fun experience ? I kept trying to pull the plastic off the top of my tea and my friend kept saying "nope" and "don't do it" seeing as how I learned you stick the straw straight through. Well...funny how I pushed down more assertively than needed. The straw made a loud "pop" sound and got the waiter and a few customers laughing! Very cool and what trying new cuisine is about. Worth the $$ and not bad prices at that. I definitely plan on coming back and have already told several people about this restaurant. Good times!

Lay back vietnamese restaurant. They didn't have a simple a Pho chicken noodle soup only beef which is lame. Nice place though for family and good food.Their mango Boba drink is the best dot come. Best mango Boba drink I've had in a while.

The food is amazing, I feel bad writing the review because I don't want it to get too busy, but the food is legit.
