This has been our favorite sushi spot for a decade. My wife and I finally brought our niece with us so she could try sushi for the first time. She has a severe peanut allergy, but the hostess and server were incredibly accommodating. They went out of their way to verify there were no cross-contaminants at the sushi chef's station and even checking to make sure that gyoza was fried in vegetable oil and not peanut oil. We're very grateful for this.

The sushi here is delicious. The ambience is very nice and classy. They also have a section in the back with low, short-legged tables and floor chairs for a more authentic experience.
Was working across the street and stopped in to get some lunch today. Got Chicken Katsu Bento Box to go and it was genuinely delicious. The hostess was so kind and got me a glass of water while I waited. Very beautiful inside, I will be bringing my partner here for a date.

From the door to the bill, I enjoyed it. I tasted Hamachi Kama (appetizer) for first time. The combination with the Radish, soy sauce and that fish was nice. My entree, Donkatsu with Asahi beer . Finished with tea. Great time there

By far the best sushi restaurant I’ve been to since moving here a year ago. The OMG roll and the volcano roll are two must haves!! And the pork tonkatsu is phenomenal. The service is always awesome and the atmosphere and aesthetic of the restaurant is amazing!

Loved this place. The miso soup and salad they would give with sushi orders was something that made us remember and talk about Kampai anytime we would visit any other sushi restaurant. We were very sad to learn that the miso soup and salad is no longer something that you get with your sushi. It was something that made Kampai special and it is unfortunate to have lost it.
