Terrible solution to ripping off a customer that spent over $70+ on breakfast, in which the staff failed to notify the customer that they were out of a portion of the meal until they handed the bag to the customer and were closing, by giving a pretty standard b.s. "we'll notify the staff so this doesnt happen again." The owner is out of touch with its customers, who try and support local businesses in the area, and want them to come back again? What a joke! Aaron Teitelbaum is completely daft when it comes to business ownership, or connecting with its customers.

Omg! Kingside Diner is so amazing. My husband and I came for the Chicken and Waffles and the waffle iron quit on us! Welll all the staff, our waitress Steph, and the Manager only let us be disappointed for 2 seconds before they more than made up for the waffles. The manager Avery went above and beyond for us. We come here all the time and cannot wait to come back! Thank you all for your amazing service. It is so so appreciated!

I got the biscuit and gravy and a waffle. While the waffle wasn't as big as I hoped it was delicious. The spin they put on the biscuits and gravy was different (adding cheader cheese and chives) though i quite enjoyed it.
The staff was friendly and welcoming.
Overall I'd come back here in the future to try other dishes.

Well, after I took a bite of my waffle there were multiple hairs on my plate beneath the waffle. Quite disgusting and unacceptable. Then they tried to charge me for the meal! It took 2 conversations with the manager to get it resolved. I’m not the type of person to look for handouts by any means but to try to charge me anything after that was baffling to say the least. For your safety, I’d avoid it!

There was hair in the both plates of food. Servers weren’t surprised when we pointed out. Yet, they were kind enough to offer a remake the order. We asked for the check instead but they didn’t charge us for anything. Service and atmosphere were good, though I doubt if I will go back.
