I've been wanting to try the express location of Kingside since they opened at the Delmar Loop.

Parking is off street meter, or paid garage. I suspect parking may be challenging at times, but I found an off street easily.

The storefront is gritty, I liked it. The interior is bright and modern. Surprisingly the dining space was larger than anticipated. Menus are on boards at the counter where you order and pay. I was with a party of four and they were not too busy on a MLK holiday afternoon.

I ordered the Kingside Slinger which I was warned was huge! It consist of a burger patty, eggs ordered your way, hash browns, cheese and black beans. It's a beast!

Food was delivered to the table in around 10 minutes, or so which was impressive. Everyone enjoyed their meals which were more modest to mine. Every plate presented nicely and was fresh! My Slinger was actually shareable, or could bring a portion home. I ate half and enjoyed.

Absolutely a solid 4 star joint and would recommend.

Parking: Off street meter. Garage across the street.

Place is a mess, they should hire more help than just having 1 person. Have to wait 25+ min for take out, since they are too busy to attend

We went here both mornings after staying at the Moonrise across the street. They had excellent food and friendly staff. I definitely recommend it, as long as you don’t mind a short wait (they are very popular and busy, not the staffs fault!). Best breakfast food I’ve ever had, a great St Louis local restaurant.

I want to give this a glowing review because this was the first time I've ordered from here. Four of our five meals were really good. One was completely missing. We ordered through UberEats and this happens every once in a while. This is why I always order extra food. However, they also didn't make any of the requested substitutions I paid for or send the extra condiments that I paid for. I wouldn't care, but these were all paid for items. I'm ordering for company events and if I can't rely on them to get the orders correct, I have to take them off my list. Got great feedback on the burritos though.

Honestly don't know why this place is rated highly. Got an omelet and a 'large' coffee, coffee was in a tiny kids cup and the omelet felt uncooked, the hash browns were better and even they looked soggy. Tasted bland, the bloody Mary didn't have anything but mix, vodka and ice. For $35 dollars you'd think you'd get more than 5 ounces of egg in your omelet. Honestly trash.

Great little spot for a quick bite. We had breakfast and it was really good. The iced monkey love latte was my absolute favorite!

Kid-friendliness: The kids breakfast offers the option of a pancake and it was a huge pancake that they made chocolate chip. We also were able to upgrade the toast to a bagel for a small fee. The eggs were also a good size. Smaller children could even split one kids breakfast between two.

Five stars for Kingside Diner in the Delmar Loop of St. Louis, MO, a haven of culinary delight and vibrant ambiance! This spot seamlessly combines a cozy diner vibe with a modern twist, making it the ultimate go-to for both locals and visitors.

Now, let me tell you about Kevin, the most legendary and iconic barista I've ever encountered. Kevin's presence alone elevates the entire experience at Kingside Diner. With his beaming personality and cool beard??‍♂️, Kevin isn't just serving coffee—he's crafting conversations. His unique style of interaction is refreshing and genuine, making every visit feel like catching up with an old friend.

Kevin's mastery behind the counter is nothing short of impressive. Whether he's brewing your favorite blend or suggesting something new, he does it with an effortless charm that makes you trust his expertise instantly. His ability to remember regulars' orders and his knack for making each guest feel special is unparalleled.

I love the French toast - amazing everytime. The lemonade was watered down, it wasn't fresh squeezed, and they use syrup to flavor it. But for $3.50 and free refills, i think if you like Minute-Made lemonade you'll love it! Great customer service as well.
