I love their variety of pastries made from sourdough! I always see new products every time I come here. Today I had tiramisu sourdough and bacon and cheese kolache and both were very good. They also now have dinning in seating.

Knead Bakehouse + Provision is a modern bakery and cafe that puts sourdough in the forefront with everything bread, sandwiches, pastry and breakfast items.
A small cozy seating area that gives you the opportunity to enjoy their selection and absorb the atmosphere and great aromas from the kitchen.
We had the pleasure of trying the chicken salad sandwich, sausage breakfast sandwich, everything kolache, savory kolache, amaretto donuts, sourdough loaf (which they sliced for us), raspberry braided loaf and a drip coffee.
The chicken sandwich was creamy and very flavorful and a great fluffy sourdough bread, which brought the sandwich to a higher level.
The sausage breakfast sandwich, the patty was perfectly seasoned, together with a perfectly cooked egg on a soft bun was the best breakfast sandwich we ever got and will say it doesn’t even remind you of a breakfast sandwich, but in a completely different class.
The kolache had a great flavor to both of them, but will have preferred them being warm, which will be a request next time or bring home and try.
The donut was extremely sweet and had a strong flavor of amaretto, pairing together nicely with a strong drip coffee, which almost seems intentional. It’s great to see a bakery who has put some thought and heart into selecting the right coffee, and good coffee compared what we are used to, which is a neglected item on many bakery menus.
The raspberry braided loaf has a great glacé with a crispy texture and notes of the raspberry bringing it home in one complex and flavorful bite.

We tried Knead Bakehouse + Provisions on a Saturday around 1PM and maybe be the reason it did not feel too crowded and we were able to get a table for four, even though every table was full the whole time, there was always one available just in time for the next patrons.

We are definitely coming back to explore more items on the menu list!

Love Knead!! Their salads are delicious, and their bread is so yummy! We love to treat ourselves to one of the many delicious sourdough doughnut options.

It’s all good, don’t get me wrong, but the triple citrus French toast and short rib sourdough dip will have you passed out. Cinnamon roll, butter shortbreads, bacon kolaches are also excellent. You can’t miss.

Had the most delicious breakfast sandwiches and brioche donuts! Incredible bread and unique flavors. Coffee was good too. Love having such a yummy bakery in Lindenwood Park. Will be back!

This place has great food, especially anything with sourdough (and you can't go wrong with the meatball sandwich - one of the best in the city). It's all homemade ingredients and sauce.

*They close early on Saturdays (like 2pm) so make adjustments to your schedule.

FYI there doughnuts rock too!

TINY portions for the price. Got the meatball sub special and so small with 3 tiny meatballs for 16$. You can get way more food for your money at so many other places in south city. Blues city Deli, Gioria’s, Mom’s Deli all have huge meatball subs.
