As always, prime rib delicious. Steak perfectly seasoned and grilled. Apple strudel that is mouthwatering. Service was nicely timed. Lovely evening.

My wife and I went to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary and it was truly amazing. We had Kurt as a server and he was awesome. I had the prime rib with a side of scallops and my wife had the New York strip. Both very delicious. The restaurant had an old timey charm to it. Like you went back in a time machine for a fine dining experience. 100% would recommend.

We arrived a little early and were promptly seated. Kurt, our waiter, immediately greeted us and took care of our needs. The food was excellent. Kurt and the rest of the wait staff were very attentive to our needs. With everyone's attention to detail it is easy to see why Kreis' has been the place for fine dining for 77 years.

We went to celebrate a birthday. Our first visit was sponsored by Monsanto when I interviewed in Feb 1981. While the faces have changed over time, the service, style and food quality are consistent and excellent. Amazingly so. We have had many visits to Kreis's over the decades and they have all been excellent. I never worry, whether I am taking visitors, colleagues, or family, the affair will be stellar and worth the cost. We hope the establishment will out last us, A great place for a last special dinner.

Get the Prime Rib - it was fantastic, best we ever had. Impeccable service from Kirk made for a great dinner. Can't wait to go back!

Food was delicious, well cooked and seasoned. Our second time eating there. However, next time I reserve a table, I will tell them that I would prefer to sit at the front. The front area seems more private and the ambiance is more romantic. The back dining area is brighter and much louder, more of a family gathering. The servers are well observant, water glass always refilled and always asking if everything is okay. Also, their amaretto cheesecake is to die for... 😋 yum!!

Great food and service. Rob was friendly, engaging, and there when you needed him. The restaurant was quiet enough for us to carry on a conversation without any distraction from other tables.

This place is perfect. Food. Service. Cocktails. Reminds me of better times when restaurants cared about their customers like family. Will be back for sure and I live hours away.

My husband had a birthday so his Mom and I decided to go to Kreis to celebrate. From beginning to end service was impeccable and the food was as good as you would expect from an institution that's been around since 1948. The highlights for my husband was the perfectly prepared prime rib, the wedge salad, and he enjoyed the on the house amaretto cheese cake with a festive sparkler. For his Mom and me, the filet medallions with mushroom red wine sauce were delicious and I particularly loved the apple strudel. I wish I could remember the name of our server with the slicked back brown hair because he deserves am extra shout out, but everyone there was pleasant and extremely efficient. I highly recommend!

I have had nothing but excellent experiences at this place. The food is divine, the prime rib is the best I've ever had. The sides have massively improved, and the quality seems to be going up. The owner seems incredibly passionate about the food and the customer service isn't matched anywhere in the city. The burger is also to die for.

No place I'd rather take someone for a special occasion.
