Kreis' Steakhouse & Bar

Kreis’ Steakhouse makes for an excellent night out. All of the food is top notch. The tablecloth dining is superb. Service is amazing. I will say that, at least on my visit, the acoustics are less than ideal. It makes for loud dining which forces every table to get louder until the entire place is at a deafening roar.

Fabulous dinner at this St. Louis institution. Excellent service at the bar and in the dining room. Highly recommended.

This was our 4th or 5th time visiting Kreis' Restaurant. Our waiter was Robert. He was nice and knowledgeable but kind of quiet. The food was excellent as usual. Special of the day appetizer we ordered was way over priced. Was a lobster shrimp frittes. Really small and not much lobster for $24. I had the queen size prime and my husband had the NY strip ( top 2%)one. Both were very good. Overall a very good meal for our anniversary celebrating 43 years. We will be back.

Kreis' Steakhouse is synonymous with St. Louis. It's steeply entrenched in an old-school, fine dining experience. The service is impeccable and the food is very good.

It was definitely a packed house, but it was also Father's Day so we consider ourselves lucky to even get a table. We have been going to this restaurant for years and years, and it never disappoints. Rob, our server, was incredible. So animated, so excited to Talk about the specials, just an all-around very attentive and charismatic server. The prime rib, the queen cut, and my favorite, the pork chops, were cooked to perfection. The special appetizer was a fish soup, and I can't remember the name of it, but I think that it needs to be a standard on the menu. Close a bouilliabaisse or a bookbinder soup, but the best fish soup I have ever tasted. Well done, again,

The meal just didn't live up to what I have experienced before at this restaurant. The meal was just average. The service was fine. Maybe they were having a bad night. I will try it again but not for a while.

Disappointed- reservation and specific table confirmed but table requested given away. Side dishes served 10-15 minutes after entree. One guest had allergies and food delivered with allergic issues after being guaranteed it would not

This place was so nice. The waiter Victor was outstanding.

7:30 reservation - Sat after 7:45 and didn't give a drink order until after 8pm. We've been here a handful of times. Food is always on point. Delicious meal. Fine service. We'll continue to go once or twice a year.

Always enjoy the food here. Come majority of times for Pharmaceutical Dinner meetings.

Our waiter was very creepy and not very personable. He was short with his words, walked off quickly and stared like he didn't want us there. Other staff stood around staring the whole time. It felt like we were in a vampire movie. I will never go back.

We were treated very nice for our anniversary dinner. Luciano was great and even pronounced my last name correctly, which is rarely done. Will def be back .

Stuffed shrimp appetizer was amazing as well as the martinis. Caesar salad was average, halibut was dry and overcooked and the filet was meh. Front dining room looked great but we were seated in the back and shoehorned in like sardines. Overall not that impressed.

Loved the food and service that we received!! Matt our waiter was amazing! Will be back soon

The last time I was here was in '96. Still a fantastic place and a great experience! You simply can't go wrong here... - Make that reservation though... :)
