My wife and I went to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary and it was truly amazing. We had Kurt as a server and he was awesome. I had the prime rib with a side of scallops and my wife had the New York strip. Both very delicious. The restaurant had an old timey charm to it. Like you went back in a time machine for a fine dining experience. 100% would recommend.
We arrived a little early and were promptly seated. Kurt, our waiter, immediately greeted us and took care of our needs. The food was excellent. Kurt and the rest of the wait staff were very attentive to our needs. With everyone's attention to detail it is easy to see why Kreis' has been the place for fine dining for 77 years.
We went to celebrate a birthday. Our first visit was sponsored by Monsanto when I interviewed in Feb 1981. While the faces have changed over time, the service, style and food quality are consistent and excellent. Amazingly so. We have had many visits to Kreis's over the decades and they have all been excellent. I never worry, whether I am taking visitors, colleagues, or family, the affair will be stellar and worth the cost. We hope the establishment will out last us, A great...
