We did not have the greatest dining experience here. The carnitas were really good, as well as the beef taco salad and tacos. However, stay away from the chicken. Three people in our party of six got the arroz con pollo and ended up with food poisoning. We questioned if it was fully cooked and were assured it was. (We obviously know now that was not the case.) If you do a margarita, order the Cadillac. It was really good. The other drinks are pre-made mixes, and they taste like it. We also had to request extra ice because the drinks were pretty warm. When we visited, the A/C was out. Luckily the temperature was relatively mild that day, but it would be rough if it's hot. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, but it sounded like it had been out for awhile.

Lord save your self from this place it's 90 degrees outside and they don't have AC and that's not even the bad part the beans were not good any more and had expired and they have no drinks like what restaurants dosent have coke or more type of drinks they were all out I don't understand how people come here, in general the service is not good very bad never coming back!

I placed an order through Grubhub for takeout. I received a confirmation and was told my order would be ready, however when I got to the restaurant the hostess told me they didn't do any of the food apps anymore. When I showed her the pending charge on my debit card account she said I needed to take it up with Grubhub. She didn't even offer to let me place an order in person. I will definitely be disputing the charge with my bank and will be taking my business elsewhere, to restaurants that allow me to use the food apps that I find so convenient to use.

Excellent service by Karla. We came here as a family and had a great meal. We recommend the birria tacos and the tampiqueña. Drinks were big and strong! The restaurant is very colorful, very fun ambiance.

We were incredibly disappointed. Ordered online, received text that order was ready. Got there and they hadn't even begun to prepare the order. When they gave us the food, it wasn't what we had ordered and it wasn't very good anyway.
If you like a good Texican Mexican meal then you might not find a better one than El Burro Loco. It's not authentic Mexican food -- get that out of your head -- but it's great for what it is. The service is fast and the margaritas are huge! They've got all the great Mexican beers and the retried beans with cheese are terrific. All of the burritos are large and filling and the chips are bottomless. Definitely worth visiting if you're staying downtown-- not easy to park so best to walk if you're at a hotel (but not too late as you might get caught in a protest riot or crossfire from the locals) or try the corner pay lot across the street. Great service too with a super friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Went to lunch at this location. The food was amazing!! Tried something new for once. Only to be half way done with my food and a ROACH crawl out!! That was enough for me. I should have just left after I noticed the funny smell.

I love El burro loco but I have only been to and ordered from the Euclid location. We decided not to cook last Friday and ordered El burro through door dash. I would love to say there is no differences in the two, but I was a little disappointed in the salsa and chips, the salsa was not the same deliciousness at all, the retried beans left a lot to be desired as well. My carnita fajita was ok. I prefer the Euclid location but don't take my word for it. They could have had an off night. Still Love El burro I'll just stick to the CWE.
