La Finca has always been at the top of my list of coffee shops to take people to, to come to right after school. But something changed after they closed for a couple of weeks. No more usual hours, no more absolutely amazing and now familiar baristas like Hollie, Noah. Today's experience for the first time in two years was absolutely terrible for me as a regular customer and made me reconsider my attitude to La Finca. I came there after college to get three large lattes before going to the doctor. I waited for over ten minutes for them to start making it, although there was only one couple in front of me - a new barista decided to talk to customers right before making my latte. I told the cashier at the register, whom I saw for the first time, that I was in a hurry because I have a doctor's appointment. She started making the latte, taking all three 16 oz cups. As someone who gets a large latte here every week, I know what a 20 oz cup looks like. I told her about it and she assured me that these cups are Large and the smaller ones are only 12 oz, although La Finca always had 20/16/12 oz sizes. I am attaching to my review a picture of two different cups - from LaFinca and Teleo Coffee. The latter do not have 20 oz, only 16, and as you can see in this photo the cups are the same size. I am not so disappointed that I paid money for a larger latte and received less, but that I was assured that I was wrong about the sizes and I was deceived. I was late to the doctor, received three wrong lattes and am no longer sure that I want to return to my beloved LaFinca.

06/17/25 update: Love to come on Tuesdays to stock up on beans and get a free drip to tide me through the day, but they swapped it this morning from just asking what size you want to giving you the espresso sized cup unfortunately

Great Colombian style cafe with lots of espresso drinks and pastries. They have empanadas for lunch!

Sad I can't get coffee at my favorite shop anymore since they dont open till 8am, after most people need to be at work.

Wow, what terrible service. It took an amazing 25 min to get a small latte and a croissant (served ice cold, no offer to warm it), and they had only 3 customers but had 3 staff who apparently had no idea how to do their job. What a shame because it’s a nice space.

This place is just lovely. The staff are always so kind. I have a severe gluten sensitivity and they are so helpful. The staff knew what my choices were to eat safely. I really like the chicken salad without the bun (no chips) add lettuce & tomato on side / corn tortillas. The chef at the Eureka location is so kind to me about my special order. Thank you all who work there. I appreciate having a nice and safe for me place to get something to eat quickly. The atmosphere is nice to get work done or visit with others. I love their spicy chai tea. The pastry case looks incredible for those who can indulge - everyone will find something to love here. ⭐️🌷
