The moment I walked in, I knew this was gonna be rough. Dead quiet, awkward vibes, decor that didn’t click, and a random side room that just felt off.
The barista was nice — no complaints there — but the coffee was a disaster. Bitter yet weak espresso (how do you even pull that off?), drip that tasted like bottomless diner swill, and a latte with milk steamed into sad bath foam.
I did try the beef empanada, and it was actually pretty good — the chimichurri was the star of the whole visit. But when the sauce for a snack is the highlight over the coffee at a coffee shop, that’s not a good sign.
In the end, it all felt like something I could’ve grabbed at a gas station — with a slice of heat-lamp breakfast pizza and a stale bear claw.

They’re struggling since that staff walkout a couple months ago (which was obviously a bad sign). Seems like they’re consistently understaffed with high turnover. Noticeable decline in speed and quality. And they changed the sweet empanadas to a much worse version :( I’ve been a frequent customer but don’t think I’ll be back.

The lattes were delicious, and the coffee was very good quality. We also enjoyed the veggie empanadas. The staff was kind, smiling, and took time to respond and help with orders.
However, the café seemed a bit disorganized—one of our drinks was forgotten, and another came out wrong. Also, while the bakery selection itself was nice, the number of baked items didn’t meet the demand. By 10 a.m., they were already sold out, with only a few chicken and beef empanadas left.
Overall, a pleasant place with tasty coffee and friendly service, but the organization and availability of items could be improved.

Very disappointing experience. Nearly empty shop on a Saturday morning with one worker moving incredibly slow. 15 minutes for a drink. Will not be back.

Just tried a new place other than Starbucks today and my girlfriend loves it. We ordered mocha frappe.

Will be back! Robust and flavorful Colombian coffee served in all the ways. Outstanding hot food options including empanadas and burritos. The breakfast burrito with green sauce was amazing and the house mocha latte was top notch. Great atmosphere. Outstanding service and friendly staff.

If you are here for the coffee this is one of the best ones in the city.
The coffee shop still has some rough edges. The quality and variety of the pastries for example. Also, it feels like the place doesn't have much cohesion. I would also use non disposable cups for seating clients.
The barista is amazing at preparing coffee and very personable.

Went in this morning for coffee to try something new. We were greeted by a person working on a drink and the service was great. Another dude walked up super slow and put his apron on. My wife asked him about a certain drink, he had no clue what it was. His demeanor gave vibes of not wanting to be up early. I get it. Coffee taste good but was not hot at all. I felt that to be weird that coffee would be so cold that early.
It was an ok experience. Im hoping that the place gets more employees because the coffee was decent.

I waited 20-25 minutes and the person working still didn’t take my order. While there, I saw only one or two customers get served and others were complaining about their long wait. I was hoping to give this place a fair chance after the racism allegations when the previous team walked out, but I was incredibly disappointed to see one person working alone amid a group of at least 10 customers waiting. The girl working was kind to everyone but was clearly stressed by the situation. At the end of the day, I was never served and feel very let down. Do better.

I loved everything! The iced Cafe de Olla was good, not as spicy as I was expecting, but still good. I was disappointed that they were out of breakfast burritos at 830am,but the chicken empanada made up for it. Delicious! Reasonable prices too!
