Found this hidden gem via a Facebook reel, the were reviews great, so I knew we had to give them a try.
Wow oh wow,the reviews were spot on. The food was delicious and did not disappoint. If you're looking for delicious authentic Mexican cuisine,you have to give La Oaxaquena a try. The atmosphere is vibrant, the service was excellent and the food was superb, so flavorful and fresh.

A hidden gem in SoCo. We had sopes and empanadas for dinner and left with enough for another meal. The Oaxacan Dip was tasty as well. Anytime we can get great Mexican food, margaritas, and enjoy the environment is a win. This place has all three. We have been back twice.

Prices were very reasonable. They have specials nightly and lunch specials too.
Ordered carryout tonight, first timers. The food was great, the pickup experience was friendly and fast. Oh, and the portions are huge. The big steak burrito was excellent as was the guacamole.
