Tacos
Three fresh handmade corn tortillas tacos with cilantro and onions and sauce on the side. Choices of meat: asada, marinated pork (pastor), pork, marinated pork steak (cecina) or grilled chicken.
Tlayuda
The tlayuda, for instance, is both the name of the iconic dish from oaxaca and the hardened tortilla used to house a filling of refried black beans, asiento (unrefined pork lard), cabbage, meat, avocado, oaxaca cheese, and sauce. Meat options: asada, marinated pork in pineapple sauce (pastor), chorizo, marinated pork (cecina).
Fried Empanadas
Two handmade fried corn tortillas stuffed with oaxaca cheese or chicken, topped with refried black beans, cabbage, fresh cheese and salsa.
Empanadas

Caldo De Res
This is an extremely hearty and satisfying soup, made from scratch with beef bones, potatoes, corn, baby carrots, and green beans served with chopped onions, cilantro, tortillas and limes.

OMG! How have I missed this place... The food rivals any local Mexican place in STL, and I've been to most of them. The Oaxacan dishes are amazing! Molotes, who knew a vegetarian appetizer could be that good. Their black mole sauce is absolutely decadent. And the horchata, with cantaloupe and pecans in it, incredible! I've found my new spot!

I don't really want to say this because it's going to get crowded..as a teenager who ditched school to surf in Baja, A lot, this is the best Mexican food in the STL. Coronaritas X2 please!!

Tasty Oaxaqan style food in a fun and unusual location. Perfect place to try authentic Mexican foods that most St Louis residents have probably never been exposed to before.

Fair warning: the chicken meat is very dry and the beef portions are very small.

I recommend a pork Tlayuda. If your feeling adventurous, the fried grasshoppers taste like nuts
