I went on a Monday at 3 pm. No wait, pleasantly small amount of people, and all appeared local to the culture. Always a good sign that food isn’t just made to please the county palate.
Went on a date to la vallesana and was highly disappointed after ordering the birria tacos. The fact they were flavorless, but the broth wasn’t was crazy and the meat was cold. I’ve had their other tacos and they weren’t flavorless like the ones we had today. Definitely wasn’t worth the money spent.
A staple of Cherokee Street - I love to watch a business make continued improvements of their space through the years. Easy walk up ordering, fast wait times for food and have always loved everything I've ordered. The quesabirria special really hit the spot last time I was in - and I saw someone else get an amazing looking shrimp cocktail - so I'll be back up to try that soon.
