This was an encore visit; as I had a lovely experience just a week ago. Today I decided to try different items on the menu along with my dining companion, who’s never been to LT.
We arrived promptly for our 5:30pm reservation. My dining companion thoroughly enjoyed the pork belly & lobster roll. I loved the Nashville oysters but felt the Caesar salad & fried rice were lackluster. My cosmo was perfect, I appreciate bartender’s attention to detail. The space is a chill vibe with dim ambiance. My complaint is in mid conversation our server came over and said, “ ok ladies we’ll have to wrap this up the wedding party is arriving”.
My friend and I were super perplexed. No one indicated upon arrival that we were on borrowed time due to a private event. This would’ve been helpful to know ahead so we could determine if we wanted to keep the reservation or not. Alternatively, he could’ve suggested we step over to Yellowbelly instead kicking us out without warning.

Service was good in the beginning and in the end but we had a little delay with the second order of the sides . And water refills . But great visit overall .

Drinks are cute but not strong. Food was good. Service was great. Small
&’cozy atmosphere. My only gripe (not restaurant related) was parking. It took my husband 20 minutes to find a spot since it’s located in the CWE near many other busy establishments.

My favorite cocktail bar in St. Louis. I even took my fiancee here after I proposed! Can’t think of another place where if I tried every cocktail on the menu that I wanted to try, they’d have to carry me out of there. And that’s basically every time I go because they are constantly updating the menu. The food from Yellow Belly is amazing as well. I recommend the street corn taquitos and the pork belly. I also recommend getting a reservation because the place is tiny and it can be hard to get a table without one.

Wow! Sat at the bar, and the bartender Daniel was phenomenal. I ordered the shrimp Ceviche, Crab Fritters and lobster roll to eat. I ordered the Lazy Tiger and Knuckle Cruncher to drink. All of them were 8/10+, some of them 9.25/10

A quiet little den, with great food. Dark, intimate, private.

The drinks are unforgettable—creative, bold, and beautifully made. Food was also solid. Service wasn’t the warmest during our visit, but overall it’s still a spot we’d recommend for cocktails and a cool vibe.

Great all around, food and cocktails were standout, went for dinner/happy hour, used Resy and was able to ask for vegan/dairy free accommodation, they were able to suggest and alter some items

Lazy Tiger is an absolute standout in the Central West End. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and stylish without feeling overdone. I sat at the bar and was lucky enough to be served by Elizabeth, who delivered exceptional service—friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails.
The highlight of my evening was the Moroccan Spiced Halibut. It was perfectly cooked—tender and flaky—with bold, warm spices that struck a perfect balance without overwhelming the dish. Every bite was flavorful and thoughtfully plated.
Elizabeth made the whole experience even better with great drink recommendations and just the right amount of conversation. It’s clear the team at Lazy Tiger takes pride in what they do.

I’ve been here numerous times and enjoy the food. Tonight didn’t go so well. Got put on the waitlist @9:32pm (estimated 30 min wait). Go check on the table @10:02 with the same host that added us to the waitlist. She then tells us they are done serving food…. 🤬🤬🤬 WE WOULD HAVE WENT SOME PLACE ELSE instead of waiting 30 useless minutes. Or maybe send a text notifying us the kitchen closed during our wait.

Delicious tasty drinks but expensive, you're basically paying for being in cwe. I didn't think it was anything overly special.
