Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

I go here Everytime I come home to St Louis. I can't find a Lee's Famous Chicken anywhere I have lived or been. I crave this restaurant. I can't wait to get home for the Holidays. I'm going straight there. Yes indeed 😛😛😛

This afternoon I went to the Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken on Jefferson for a late lunch/early dinner. I placed my order (which wasn't chicken tenders) and once I got my food, I made my way home.

Once I got home, I realized that I had gotten another customer's order by mistake. So I jumped back in my car, and made my way back to Lee's. The manager was outside and as soon as I got out of the car, he asked, "Let me guess, you ordered 3 piece meal?" He then brought me inside to get my order fixed.

He apologized profusely about the mix-up. He told me to keep the food I already had and then told a worker to get me a free soda. The worker at the drive-thru window apologized for not checking the order before handing it to ne, Within a couple of minutes I had my food and I was on my way.

As I was heading out, I told the manager that I had be going to that Lee's for a couple of years and that was the first time I had an issue with an order. He smiled at me and told me to have a blessed day.

Lee's had already risen to be my favorite fried chicken restaurant and the integrity of the manager and the staff today solidified that.

The Lee's on Jefferson has great food and a very friendly staff.
Please given them your business if you're ever in the area.

Every time I visit it seems that they don't get the orders correct unless You go in. But the drive-thru will give you what they want You to have not what you ordered.

The worst Lee's chicken I've ever had. The lady at the window was very rude and ignorant to customers. The food was horrible and had the lady at the window did her job it may of been ok.

My chicken was raw and the lady at the drive through was so rude I’m waiting on the manager tomorrow to take this nasty raw chicken back no stars they made u pick one to write the reviews

Drive thru is quick and the food is flavorful but greasy every now and then
