Went here last night with my friend. It was a pleasant experience! The staff were all very nice and welcoming, and the server was helpful with giving suggestions also. Loved the atmosphere and would have loved to try some drinks, they sound yummy! Would be a great place to just come sit and drink and hang out for sure. We had the party jollof plate, loved the chicken wings on the plate! Best chicken wings I've had honestly. And we had it with the spinach, all of it was great! We also tried the Egusi soup with pounded yam (Fufu). The beef inside it was tender and really good. The over all dish had a fishy smell/flavor that since I've never tried this dish before I didn't know about. So I personally couldn't eat much of it because I'm not huge on that type of flavor, but I still tried it and ate the meat inside it! Was worth the experience! I'm wondering if the Efo Riro is the same or not, I'd like to try it! Next time I'll definitely try some other things, the flavors were good, and try out the drinks!

Nigerian restaurant I went to while visiting St Louis. The ambiance was cute and modern. The basement where the restrooms are located could use better lighting because it’s dark and kinda spooky down there lol. Overall I would def come here again. The ayamase was really good and spicy but the oil was too much. Portion was very good as well

From the moment we arrived, our server, Joann, made the evening feel special. Her warmth, attentiveness, and deep knowledge of the menu turned an already vibrant meal into something truly memorable. Every recommendation — from the jollof rice to the suya — was spot on. She anticipated what we needed before we asked, checked in just the right amount, and shared small insights about the dishes that made us appreciate the flavors even more.
It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and personal, but that’s exactly what we experienced here. Levels already has an incredible atmosphere and amazing food, but she elevated it all with genuine hospitality and care. We left feeling seen, welcomed, and eager to return.

I heard about Levels through a friend and decided to try it, especially since I’d never had fufu before. The place was really nice different from any restaurant I’ve been to in Illinois. The vibe was laid-back, casual, and fun. The food was great, too.
There were just a couple things that stood out. My friend had her baby with her, but there wasn’t a high chair available. Also, there were four bathroom doors, but only one would open I was low-key scared to close it because I thought I’d get locked inside 😅. That might be something to work on.
The waitress did mix up our order at first, but she fixed it quickly. Nobody’s perfect mistakes happen. Overall, everything was still great and I’d definitely come back.

This place is not making a big deal out of itself, it just happens to serve the greatest Nigerian food! My server Iffie set the tone for the warm and friendly, casual, and neighborhoody vibe, and she gave me great advice for how to navigate the menu. The decor is understated elegance, and though the prices seemed a little higher than I’d expected, the food is prepared with loving care and in large portions. I will be returning here every time I visit St. Louis!
