This place really was like home for a large number of us. I am sorry to report that it closed for good July 28, 2019.

The goat cheese and tomato quiche was mediocre. I also had an iced latte and it was good but nothing special. The best parts were the location and the atmosphere of the cafe. I wanna come back and try their pastries. EDIT: I just received a reply from the owner about this review so I would like to add some notes. Sorry for calling your quiche mediocre. I just wanted to give my honest opinion to the people on Yelp. I was excited and chose this place to reunite my old friend. Maybe I'm the only person who didn't love their quiche. But it was just not my favorite. That's it. No offense.

This was a lucky find on a trip to St. Louis. This is a quaint and unassuming restaurant that would be really easy to miss. You walk in to a simple but beautiful decor, and the smells... Fantastic! The food is well thought out, fresh, and overall amazing. We started there and moved onto the sweets. They to did not disappoint. Please go here for a great experience and to patronize a local business. Whenever we find ourselves back in town, this will always be a must visit lunch spot.

What a great find in St Louis! Being from Montreal, I am always seeking out good French food and I feel like this was what I was looking for in St Louis. Walking in, you feel like you found a nice French café. The owner is actually from France and it was really nice to speak with her! We ended up getting a croque-monsieur which did not disappoint as well as some other pastries and macarons. Can't wait to come back! Prices are good and atmosphere is very cozy! Loved the staff, loved the food. Street parking is not a problem as well!

Very tasty! I got a latte, salmon on a baguette with cheese, and some croissants. I've never had croissants like these. They were buttery, crispy, flaky, and chewy. The chocolate and almond ones were very good. They are pricey, so coming to this place is a treat and not gonna be a regular thing. It was very cold inside when I went. Service was excellent.

A really nice breakfast or lunch stop. They also do a pop up dinner once a month that is a first come first served sell out every time. I have explored their desserts as well and they are truly French in that they are never overly sweet and are delicious. I have had sandwiches, croque monsieur, and madam. Always a favorite for Bruch or Lunch. French onion soup as a starter or with it and I am in heaven. Macaroons are usually varied flavors and always worth getting a selection. The Mother and Daughter team that own and run this little gem are truly nice and willing to explain anything to you that you do not understand. Their French accents can sometimes get thick so be patient and just enjoy your self.

Truly does feel like a cafe you'd find anywhere in France...I can't say enough good things about this place—the atmosphere is amazing, and the food is inexplicably delicious. Highly recommend the smoked salmon croque (with an egg!)....you really can't go wrong, though; everything I've ever had has been wonderful.

Like Home in France where the croissants are light and buttery, pain au chocolat are blessed with a layer of rich chocolate and the croissant aux amandes are to die for. Everything at this small bakery and cafe is marvelous. Sandwiches, salads, quiches and more are sensory delights. I obviously love this place. I always buy the light, fluffy baked goods for house guests and tell them this is what I miss most from living in Cí´te d'Ivoire and my many trips to France.

The young woman that helped us was friendly and informative without making us feel like dummies for not knowing what everything was. We got a huge brunch and espresso drinks. All items were delicious and tasted so fresh. We took home a chocolate tart and a macaron. They were delightful! I'll be going back every opportunity I get.

It was a nice surprise to find this place, this venue is cozy, the best vibe of France and the best flavor of French food and coffee. The owner is really nice. $good! Close to the University, if you study there, please try this restaurant.

Consistently world-class Parisian pâtisseries and French savory dishes prepared with imaginative flair and ingenuity. Delightfully affable and accommodating service. A culinary jewel across the street from Saint Louis University!
