Had a good time visiting on a Saturday around 4pm. The place was a bit hard to find because their sign is pretty small. Service was amazing, quick and thorough. Jenny checked on us throughout the night and made us feel very welcomed. The food portions were huge for us! We each got an entree and shared 3 appetizers and it was much more than enough food for us 4. Our favorites were the bo lúc lắc and calamari. The noodles and the lemon grass chicken we ordered were a bit on the salty side but flavor was definitely there. Place was nice and really clean. Parking is street parking.

Had dinner with some friends. Food was great but the server made some mistakes with an order, and forgot the free ice cream scoop of the birthday celebrator. A little too tight, almost hitting the next person's chair, and a little noisy too. Very busy at dinner time. Street paid parking or take any of the parking buildings ½ block away.

I came to Saigon Cafe on the day after my birthday because yesterday, there was a snow storm. So, to continue my new year's resolution to try different cuisines, I wanted some Vietnamese for my birthday. Mom also came because she stays nearby. And the restaurant didn't disappoint.First up: the spring rolls. My mom and I both got the pork spring rolls. Man!! One of the best foods I've tasted in my life! The cilantro and carrots are what made them delicious!Second, the pho. This is something I wanted to try for years, but I was a little unsure about, but once I continue to eat the soup, while adding a little Sriracha, it became tasty. Had to eat with a fork because I have trouble using chop stick.Then comes the Vietnamese-style fried rice. I got the chicken fried rice. Knocked it right out of the park!Finally, the Vietnamese iced coffee. I normally don't drink iced coffee as I prefer hot coffee, but that drink puts iced coffee on a completely different level! Initially had trouble using it, since I spilled some of it, but after asking the NICEST server I've seen in a while, she helpfully explained the proper way to use it. After that spill, comes the YUMM FACTOR. I loved it!The ambience of the restaurant is pretty nice, I liked it.My first review, after the experience, I will be coming back!

If there's anything I care more about than the quality of the food, it's good customer service. The fact that the Saigon Cafe team takes the time to read its reviews and tries to respectfully address all concerns speaks tenfold about the kind of establishment it is. I revisited the eatery recently and had an even better experience than my first one. Service was attentive and friendly, food was fantastic (really grateful for their vegetarian options, although I did find a piece of chicken in my lemongrass tofu), and they had good live music. I finally got to try their drinks, and I cannot gush enough about their macademia iteration of the Old Fashioned. I've never been an Old Fashioned person, but this drink was so complex and delicious with all the proper nods to the cuisine. Even the smokiness alone was art. If you're going to order one drink (or three), make this the drink you get. I also tried their Guava cocktail and it was solid, but the Old Fashioned truly blew my mind. Grateful to have such a well-run establishment nearby and will definitely be back in the future.

If you're looking for authentic Việt cuisine, this is not the place. I love the environment, great service, foods definitely above average, just not authentic Vietnamese. The spring rolls looked good, I ordered Buồn Chả Hanoi, what came out were BBQ pork, great, egg rolls (more like Chinese egg rolls) & something else.

Fantastic vietnamese food that's so flavorful. I got the lemongrass tofu and it was aromatic with some spice but not anything aggressive (thankfully). Their rice is delicious--something so simple but done perfectly. The spring rolls are the best in St. Louis in my opinion, packed with noodles, crunchy veggies, and herbs, and the sauce is perfect. I went for lunch and it was perhaps a little pricy for a meal (expect around $25 per person) but worth it in my opinion.

I’ve only gotten DoorDash from here: the Bun and beef papaya salad. Both have b her already been solid. One time the salad was a very very small portion but then bun is consistent. And they follow directions: extra sauce and herbs. Only thing I don’t like is the price point. Too expensive and I’m from Brooklyn, NY visiting. That says a lot

Just moved from Seattle and have been looking for good Pho spots in St. Louis. Saigon Cafe delivered great pho and then some! Really had a pleasant time here. I got the standard beef pho and the broth was extremely flavorful. The vermicelli bowls, and cocktails were also really great! Service and atmosphere also top notch. Will definitely be back for more.
