This is the first time I’ve ever had to write a bad review, but my experience with Lorenzo’s was so poor, I couldn’t not. I ordered dinner at their food truck at the New Hope Faith Church fireworks show. I waited in line to order my food for roughly 10 minutes. No biggie. They did let us know about halfway through our wait that they were out of every kind of cheese. That wasn’t ideal, but I decided to stay and give them a shot. I ordered a chicken taco, a burrito that was supposed to have chicken, rice, beans, and some kind of sauce on it, with chips and salsa. I waited for my food for FIFTY minutes. My family and I were there for a fireworks show, and we missed 90% of it, even though I got in line 40 minutes before it was set to start. I figured that would be more than enough time to get food and get back to our seats. Clearly not. I started to notice that 4-5 people who were behind me in line were getting their food and leaving, so I decided to ask about my order. The woman was extremely rude and told me that all of their orders were less complicated than ours so they made theirs first. I guess I fail to see what was complicated about my order? But, I continued to wait. Several other customers waiting were starting to complain. One man had been waiting for over an hour. Another man had to ask someone about his order. Apparently his ticket got lost so they never made his order. I finally got my order and was able to watch about 2 minutes of the fireworks with my family. Didn’t even have time to eat. When I got home to eat, the burrito is one of the worst I’ve ever had. It was so dry, and didn’t have an ounce of seasoning. Typically I never complain about the quality of food, but the food combined with the wait/service is too much. The burrito was supposed to have rice, beans, chicken, and sauce. When I opened it up, there was no chicken and no sauce. So I waited 50 minutes for a dry, rice and beans burrito. The chips that came with chips and salsa were completely stale. They would bend all the way in half before they would break. The salsa was actually very good. All in all, it was a very poor experience. There is absolutely no reason someone should wait 50 minutes for basic food. Especially stale food that is missing half the Ingredients.

We got the California Burrito ? and holy crap! The flavor is next level! I hate hate hate onions and I can honestly say this is amazing with onions on it! They had FRESH FLAN which was absolutely to die for! The food is soooooo good, worth the price, and the family is super nice and helpful! I'm glad this place is taking off and will be back as much as possible!! YUMMMMMMM

Had the California Burrito, Carne asada taco and Carnitas Taco. VERY good!! Different than going to your average “Mexican Restaurant”. Authentic!!! I recommend getting a slice of the Flan as well. So good!! Not sure if the two little girls working in there are the owners children but they were working their butts off and were so polite! I’ll definitely be back!
