Food was very good. Portions were generous and cocktails were quite good too. Prices reasonable compared to most quality restaurants!
Lorenzo Trattoria is a lovely low key place that's comfortable and reliable. Most importantly, the food is good, if not stellar, AND you can have a conversation at your table without shouting over your plates! The house salad is one of my faves on the menu. Last time, we went, I had the orecchiette with eggplant which was delicious (half of the portions would be enough for most people). My husband chose the special (clams spaghetti) and it was a bit dry. Also a huge portion. The waiter Antonio was funny and helpful. A nice and delicious chilled Tuscan Vermentino accompanied our dinner. All in all, a lovely summer evening with no frills but very enjoyable.
Our 1st visit to Lorenzo's did not disappoint. Food, atmosphere & service were all fantastic. Will definitely be back for a 2nd visit.
Very enjoyable evening. The food and service was outstanding. We will return for sure! Thank you!
Lovely date not out. So fun heading down to the Hill in Saint Louis. Staff at Lorenzo's was so friendly and the food and drinks delicious!
Jennifer has been our waitress for the last couple of visits and she is attentive and continued to check in on us when we we there for a couple of hours. Love Lorenzo's.... food, service and ambiance!.
I read the reviews before I made the reservation, this restaurant far exceed our expectations. The food was excellent as was the service! When in St Louis, this a must!
From start to finish the staff at Lorenzo's Trattoria were on it! Even though I changed my reservation three times, they didn't miss a beat, even keeping to my special request throughout the changes! It was a beautiful time. The ambiance was perfect, our waitress was rarely present when not needed; highly recommended
We had a reservation but could not be seated for over 20 minutes. The delay caused us to be late for the concert we were attending. Staff was very friendly. Food was excellent. Very good waiter. It was crowded so it was a bit loud. Despite the setbacks we had a great dinner and would return. Just don't count on being seated on your reservation time.
It was another spectacular meal at Lorenzo's. From the salad to the special I had for dinner (it was a walleye with spinach fettuccine), everything was delicious and the staff awesome!

As usual, excellent meal and service. Lorenzo's never disappoints. We loved the cheese ravioli starter and our veal piccata was good. Our guest had the gnocchi and really liked it. Cannoli and tiramisu ended the meal excellently.
Outstanding food and excellent service in a casual fine dining atmosphere! Our new favorite restaurant on the Hill! From appetizer to main course to dessert, everything exceeded our expectations. Service was impeccable! Thank you! We ate at the Bae and several servers walking by stopped to clear plates ,etc as well!
Excellent all around. Our server was very young, but she was outstanding - knowledgeable, professional and helpful. The portions are very large. Salads can easily be shared. The place was very busy, but everything still came out perfect. The halibut special was a real standout.
Our favorite Italian restaurant on The Hill. Fresh fish options, including halibut, last night. Two of us had chicken spiedini with asparagus that was excellent. Wine choices are very good and fairly priced. Will continue to return....
Very good food and great service. The restaurant is dated and still in the 60s with decor and music.
