Truly outstanding food, full of flavor and made with quality ingredients. The focaccia they serve before dinner is mouthwatering. The pork chop was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The pasta was super fresh. Can’t wait to return!

Just flew to St. Louis from Atlanta with my husband and came here straight from the airport. We were lucky enough to get last minute reservations and oh my God, so glad we did. We had the most amazing service and food. Corinne was our waitress and she was just OUTSTANDING and SO sweet!!! She felt like a friend since the start of the dinner. Honestly every single person here was so generous. The other waiter kept checking on us as well and even the women by the door when you first walk in! I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m home :)

We sat at the bar and loved the attention and quick service. The pizzas we ordered came out quick and were pretty big

Huge fans of the pomodoro fresco pizza! Possibly my favorite pizza in stl. The potato pizza may have been a temporary/experimental menu item— the first bite or two is amazingly savory, but it’s a bit too buttery and potato-y for a whole pizza. The taste could have worked out better as a smaller dish? Regardless, the pomodoro pizza, wine, and service were amazing

Hard to get reservations here for a very good reason! The vibe is very lively and the food deserves an adjective better than AMAZING! Our first visit here we ate at the bar. We started with Prosciutto di Parma with the added seasonally delicious peaches. The combination was perfection. My husband never orders chicken out, but when the server told us it was one of the most popular dishes, he went for it. He said he may never order anything else on the menu because he just would not be able to pass the chicken up. I had a bite, and it was tender and full of fantastic flavors. I opted for the Roman Gnocco with pork ragu and Bechemel. It is a dish that I cannot wait to have again! We Love Louie and will be back for sure!

We had an 8:30 reservation but didn’t get seated until almost 9, which was kind of a bummer. But once the food started coming out, I totally forgot about the wait! Everything was so delicious, and the service was amazing. The cocktails were also really good (wish I had remembered to take pics!), but the real star of the night was the bolognese. The pasta was cooked perfectly and had such rich flavor. The only miss for me was the eggplant dip… it had a super earthy taste that I just couldn’t get into. I’d say skip that one and save room for the mains!

Louie is effortlessly stylish—every detail feels thoughtful and elevated. The Gnocco was absolutely to die for!! Cocktails were on point, and the service was impeccable. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to—again and again.

We have been here two times now. This previous time, we ordered the brussel sprouts, pappardelle bolognese, & beef tenderloin. Everything was really good except for the bolognese. I wouldn’t order that again probably and was let down by it. It wasn’t bad, but wasn’t anything special for the price. Love the focaccia bread. My husband really enjoyed the beef tenderloin.

If you like to bathe in salty, buttery, bready goodness, this is for you. Louie doesn't skimp and really puts their whole back into it. When you go, because you should, prepare to be decadent. Atmosphere is a little too loud for me. If you want food that is just as good with an even better atmosphere, I would check out their other spot, Wright's Tavern.
