Our server, Ben, was phenomenal, very knowledgeable and attentive. On a busy night it didn't seem like he ever missed a beat. Many of the plates here are excellent. The pizzas are always amazing 👏. This trip. The cod was not our favorite this trip, the set seemed to over power the fish a bit, but the cook was great.

Louie is easily one of my most favorite (if not #1) restaurants in Saint Louis. Every single dish I’ve tried has not been good, it’s been genuinely incredible. Completely blown away by the flavors. If people say Saint Louis doesn’t have good restaurants, it’s because they don’t know about Louie.

So consistent and so delicious. My husband and I found a last minute reservation on a Friday night (during the holidays no less) so we snagged it. Neither of us had ever had the pizza at Louie and I’m so sad we just recently discovered it. The leek and potato pizza is next level. Service as always, was phenomenal. Celebrated 33rd anniversary just the two of us. They went above and beyond to make it memorable. We sat at bar which was perfect. Evie,who waited on us, served us a lovely prosecco. She was attentive but not intrusive. She went went through menu and was informative and fantastic at leading us through the best meal I have had in years. The roasted chicken is to the next level. The crisp of the skin! OMG. The sauce enhances without overwhelming Not a big fan of rapini...no problem broccolini was cooked perfectly. One of the specials was spinach artichoke ravioli. It melted in our mouths. Used the homemade focaccia to test that the sauce was good to last drop and it was. Finished the meal off with panna cotta with honey, dates, nuts and other goodness on top. Left feeling satiated, loved and like we just made new friends. We will be back.

We just finished celebrating our anniversary dinner here after having this on a “must try” list. We had an 8:00 reservation and got seated right away. We started with drinks and olives which were the perfect salty/savory combo- the wine choice was something new and delicious. We got the Margherita pizza and the chitarra. So good! The sauce on the pasta was flavorful but not overpowering. The pizza was a smidge undercooked for my liking but the flavors were there and the crust was light and chewy. For dessert we got the “ice cream sandwich”. Phenomenal. The flavor combo was perfect. The absolute star of the show was our server, Liz. From handing us our silverware to saying good night after we paid, she was attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and truly provided the kind of service that separates an ok experience from an excellent one- and she provided the latter (even sneaking in a few bites of the sweet potato ravioli for me. MUCH appreciated)! This will for sure be on our list to come back to.

Louie is my husband and I’s absolute favorite restaurant in STL. The food there is so delicious and we use any birthday, anniversary, or any accomplishment as an excuse to go there. The staff is truly so sweet and even managed to make our wedding day! Please eat here and tip well!!
Cute bartender with the bangs (Genevieve) was absolutely fantastic. We sat at the bar and just had the best night. She helped me pick a fun cocktail (margarita of course) and made sure it was made to perfection. She recommended a special which was a potato leek pizza and it was so delicious. I always get the beef Bolognese every time (favorite item on the menu). It was my boyfriend’s first time there and he even mentioned how amazing the service was. Food and appetizers were perfectly timed. Genevieve was the best bartender. She cared for not only us but many others at the bar. Very polite and sweet. Would recommend you sit at the bar and request her!

My boyfriend & I came here for our one year anniversary.... I won't go into details, but it resulted in a 2-star review (which i deleted yesterday because they went above and beyond to make up for it). they called my boyfriend and asked us to come back the very next week to show us what the true Louie experience is meant to be. They did not disappoint. our entire meal was free (including cocktails) and our waitress brought us champagne to toast to our celebration & THEN on top of that, some wine to cheers to the meal once food arrived. Our waitress was named Courtney, and she is amazing (i don't recall the name of our first waitress). thank you, louie for giving us a chance to see what amazing hospitality you have <3
