So, after looking at some of the other reviews and combining that with my own experience here. It really seems like perhaps your experience varies depending on when you visit. I visited on a Sunday around 4:00. I was seated by myself (it was just me) and waited around 25 minutes for someone to take my drink order. It was incredibly busy so I was not surprised, however, keep that in mind. Once my drink order was taken, I got a water and a beer, as well as ordered the soup of the day (broccoli cheddar). These came extremely quickly compared to how long I waited to order. The soup was not homemade, I could tell by the curdling on top when it was brought to me as if it had been quickly nuked and the taste. Not very good at all. I would say this is a pretty below average place that happens to get decent traffic from the convenient location. Maybe it is nicer when the staff to customer ratio is better. I am guessing that is something difficult to manage. I’ll come back some time when I’m in St. Louis and try again. Thanks!
I have to edit this to say I didn’t stay much longer but the rest went smoothly and my server Sophia was pleasant and checked on me.

After driving 30 minutes to get there at 4pm... I get told that I can't place an order to go nor can I be seated inside.

What use to be a place I would happily promote has just lost all my respect. You would think after spending thousands of dollars on company meals with their business, I could have ordered a salad to go since they said they had no tables available.

Chicagoan reviewing. Value was on the mark, big open bar area as well as an enormous dining room that welcomed kids when we were there. We only had the fish and chips but I can't recommend them highly enough ... with a caveat. The cod was incredibly fresh, best I've had in ages and not at all greasy. The fries were traditional in the American style but well executed. The only caveat, and perhaps this is a St. Louis thing, the breading wasn't like some beer batter, thick crust things but more like it had been buried in seasoned breadcrumbs. Not a style in used to but a style I devoured. Casual but recommended.

Food is pretty good. It's just bar food but better than most. The servers are friendly and attentive. Parking is difficult, though. Be prepared to pay and walk.

The food was the highlight of this location. Great comfort food and inviting environment. My only complaint is that it was loud and kind of dark/dam looking. The staff was NOT friendly and seemed impatient and irritated. I would go back for the food, but maybe order take out next time to avoid the staff and environment.

Was here a couple weeks back and the place was packed. Had a less than great experience, but the manager (Tara) came to the rescue. She apologized and promised a better experience next time.
Well, I went back with family last night, and everything was TREMENDOUS! Service(thank you Riley!) food, atmosphere were all great!
If you haven't been in a while, go back...I highly recommend.

Stopped here after seeing Lindsey Sterling in concert one of the only places open serving food at 1030pm. We had the Reuben and Patty Melt both came with an abundance of French fries. note after 10pm there are no table servers so you order at the bar. Our bartender doted on us even though the bar was busy. Also the owner was cleaning tables cooking and checking on customers. We really enjoyed our food and the service. Very cool Irish pub theme. Highly recommend.

Kid-friendliness: It's a bar no one under 21 after 10pm

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes wheel chair access everywhere

The renovations took all the character from this pub and now it looks like a gray sport bar . Still has dive bar vibes. So if that's what you like that's the spot.

So, we came back to have dinner after a concert around 10. Cordially served drinks and appetizers at Maggie O’briens. We decided on this place because it was open to serve until 1:30

We arrived at the “Hostess” spot , who I think security was sitting , they had a whole tactical vest with four leaf clover and a woman who had was sitting next to them at the hostess stand

Mic -key mouse thanks for the great service . The food was great the drinks was stout and our waitress was top notch. Not one time did we have to ask for drinks and they was super busy so I can’t say enough how good she was .
