Ngl we initially tried going to Grand Pied right up the street and that space is so small and the wait was so long, that we decided to look for other options in the area and this was the closest option! Honestly, the space is nice and HUGE, so there is hardly ever a wait. My boyfriend and I have been there a few times now and the food is very consistent, they actually have tasty drip coffee and everything is delicious. We have had a great time every time we’ve gone and we hope to go a bunch in the future :)

Excellent brunch options! I love their catfish and braised collard greens. All of the biscuit sandwiches are excellent as well. We love coming to sit at the bar on weekends, watch some retro cartoons on the TV, and have some food and drinks. With Zoe as your bartender and an excellent serving and kitchen staff you can’t go wrong!

Service was the only reason they got any stars. The bartender today was very nice. BUT…….FOOD WAS TRASH!!! I ordered the biscuits & gravy and orange juice. For the price I paid I’m thinking, this about to be good. WRONG!! It was the complete opposite. The biscuit was a hockey puck! I bit into it before I poured the gravy on it and it was dry as hell!! But I’m like well it might soften up when I soak it with the gravy… WRONG!!! I couldn’t even cut the top part of the biscuit with the fork… I ate the bottom half and the trash can ate the rest. Waste Of Money!!!!!!

Had the biscuits and gravy which happens to be my favorite food, and it didn’t disappoint. Biscuit could have been a little softer, but it was hardy and had good flavor. The gravy was also delicious. Appreciate that they have plain gravy without adding the pork sausage. Atmosphere is amazing, beautiful architecture and decor. Lots of natural light. Not crazy about the music was the only thing but it stood out because I was solo. Prices were pretty reasonable, considering how bad inflation is right now.

Finally had the opportunity to try this place over the weekend and everything from the food to the atmosphere and the service did not disappoint. Everything we had was flavorful, my cocktail was perfection, and I will definitely be back.

Absolutely terrible. I was drawn by the "gravy flight" but upon arriving, the waitress explained that the sawmill, bacon and sausage gravies were all essentially the same, the tomato was not well liked, and they were out of the chocolate, so I decided to go with the basic "biscuit and gravy" for $9. The biscuit was super dry and the gravy was tasteless. I ordered extra gravy hoping it would make it better. They charged an extra $3 for that. So $12 for a single biscuit and gravy. My wife's BEC biscuit sandwich was super dry and basically inedible. She also tried using some of my extra gravy to improve hers. Finally, she just ate the egg and bacon out of it. I can't believe how bad the biscuits were, for a place naming themselves after biscuits, and charging far more than any other biscuits I've ever seen. In addition, the service was awful, as well. Everyone there has an assigned job. One girl is the hostess and she does nothing but seat people. One guy is behind the bar doing nothing but making drinks. Unfortunately our assigned waitress was rarely to be found. I don't know if she also had tables in another room or outside or what, but she would disappear for 10 minutes or more at a time. Finally if I asked the hostess for something, she would go and hunt down the server. The whole experience was one of the worst I've ever had.

The food at Mama 2s Biscuits was AMAZING! My family and I visited St Louis for the weekend and had Sunday brunch here on our way out of town. We got the Biscuits and Gravy flight, as well as two biscuit sandwiches, the Orchard Piggy, and That’s a Bunch of Bologna. The biscuits were perfect, the service and atmosphere were exceptional, and I highly recommend it if you haven’t been already! We ate at several restaurants over the course of the weekend and this is the only one I felt strongly enough to take the time and leave a positive review!

Service was great, the decor is nice and the restaurant is clean, but the food was not good. Not a fan of caraway seeds so the sausage was a BIG thumbs down, egg was decent but the biscuits, while large in size, were dry and lacked flavor. Gravy had a pleasant texture but again lacked flavor. Spending $40 for breakfast for 2 people puts the expectation pretty high and it did not deliver with the food.

Mother’s Day Brunch was fantastic. Craved roast beef, ham, and salmon. Scrambled eggs, biscuits with their signature gravies, bacon, sausage, Bloody Mary deviled eggs, and much, much more!

Went there for brunch today and sat at the bar. Haley was our bartender and I have to say I'm highly disappointed more bartenders aren't like her. She was attentive and her positive attitude was infectious. It's obvious she cares about her customers and I can't wait to come back!

Biscuit was way way way way too over cooked. Dense and dry. I peeled most of the biscuit off. The vibes and service was good though.

This was my first time eating here. I ordered the biscuits and Gravy sampler. It was AMAZING! The biscuits were fresh and gravy was flavorful. The hibiscus cocktail was good. The waitress was very sweet. I will be recommending this place to friends. I had leftovers and ate them the following morning. This will be one of my favorite brunch spots.
