We went there with a pizza pass to try it out. Had been to 15 other places listed on the pass and this one ranks number one. The best Detroit style Delux pizza and fried mushroom EVER.
Went there on recommendation from my parents, and they do not disappoint! Got the Detroit style pizza and I think I went to pizza heaven. Met Mama Mel herself and she was so nice and chatted with me while waiting for my pizza to be ready.

This is a perfect pizza place! Mel is so awesome, and so was the rest of the staff! The best Detroit Style pizza I've ever had, and the chef salad was great, too! Everything about our experience was awesome, with just one small exception. We ordered our pizza to be 1/2 pepperoni and sausage, and 1/2 hamburger and bacon. They mistakenly put all 4 toppings on the entire pizza, much to my wife's chagrin. I enjoyed it more because I had even more meats, but she doesn't...
