It was absurd to see how many people poured in - like a flood essentially. We had a reservation and still waited 20 mins for a table and 30 mins for main entrees.

Did not like the 3% surcharge added to bill. Should have told us about that fee PRIOR to ordering. Food was great, service was great. Food was served quickly and was hot. . Raise your price, don't be sneaky and add that fee when the check arrives. By the way the average fee for a swiped card merchant is 1.97%

My party and I had a mixed experience at Mama’s. Initially, we were disappointed with our seating arrangement; we were placed at a small table behind a column, and I found myself seated in the middle of a noisy hallway with a terrible echo. Our server, Juan, was short and unfriendly, providing minimal assistance and no menu suggestions. However, after requesting a table change, we were attended to by Andres, who completely turned our evening around. Andres was welcoming, accommodating, and attentive, offering excellent menu suggestions and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails and meals, including the Manhattans, Tortellini a la Papa, Green Beans, and Vitello Gabriella. The food deserves a solid 4/5 rating, while Andres's exceptional service earns a perfect 5/5. However, due to the initial seating and noisy atmosphere, I can only give the ambiance a 3/5 rating. Overall, despite the rocky start, Andres's outstanding service made our visit memorable and enjoyable.

We frequent St Louis, and we have heard about Mama's on the Hill, and finally got to try it. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere was wonderful. My picky eater even enjoyed it. We were stuffed by the time we left, and those Italian cookies for dessert were delicious. We had provel cheese sticks for an appetizer, and I wanted to bring a bag of those home. We will be returning.

The House Salad is absolutely amazing. I have went two times. The first visit I got the Fettuccine Alfredo which was pretty good. On the second visit I got the Manicotti and it was fantastic! Server was very nice and attentive. But definitely make sure you try their House Salad!

A very nice place for dinner. The food was excellent. The service was kind of slow but it seemed more relaxed that way. Everyone was friendly and the restaurant was clean with Italian atmosphere.
Nice night out with friends. Food was solid. We went with the toasted raviolis (half cheese, half meat) as an app. The cheese is definitely the way to go, they were far better than the meat ones. for the main course we went with the Roasted Red Pepper Ravioli and the Rabbit Bolognese. The Red Pepper Ravioli was outstanding, could not get enough. The Rabbit Bolognese was okay, flavor was a little bland. Our desert was also outstanding. Don't remember if it was cheesecake, but it had lemon flavor and blueberries and it was delicious! Will be back again soon.Parking: Parking is a pain. If you see a spot, grab it and just walk.

The food was yummy, the service ok. They were not good at wine recommendations. I like good wine to go with my Italian food. The selections were"eh." I switched to cocktails and those were excellent. I can't have dairy and they didn't have a lot of options for me, but they made one of their seafood dishes with regular marinara instead of spicy marinara, for me. It was delicious. My husband got ravioli, it looked superb. The bread they brought was like regular sliced white bread - a little unconventional for Italian restaurants. My six year old wanted noodles with butter. She said it had too much butter, but she did like the ice cream.Dietary restrictions: Not super great with dairy free optionsKid-friendliness: Have a kid friendly menu for them
