My husband and I go very frequently to Manileno and everything is to DIE for. All the drinks are fantastic and so carefully made (the very best ube lattes and matcha lattes we've ever had!!) and the pastries are so uniquely crafted, with filipino flavors!!!!!

However, on top of all this, the community and service is what we love most about Manileno. We've become regulars and decided to get our wedding cake catered through them. They (Roxy!!) worked with us quickly last-minute, gave us affordable pricing, asked us about our style, and made us the most beautiful, and DELICIOUS ube-coconut wedding cake. As you can see, it is so delicately decorated, and they put their all into it. Our jaws literally dropped when we tasted the cake, and all our guests were raving about it! Some had said it was the best wedding cake they had ever taste - WOW!

Anyway, we love Manileno, their food, their drinks, their customer service, and their community - a great addition to South Grand, and definitely worth a stop in!

The hosts are so nice and very accommodating. The food is amazing!! I strongly recommend the lechon. Overall the restaurant has very elegant vibes and is very proud and represented of their Filipino heritage. We were pleasantly surprised. Will recommend and come back again and again.

Quite pricey for ordinary Filipino food. The Chicken Inasol was not all thighs as stated on menu but a mixture of a leg quarter, back, and a drumstick; also parts were quite burnt. Kare Kare special dish used lechon kawali instead of oxtail. Ube ensaymada priced at $8 but it was large and delicious; was the best dish of what was ordered.

So good. This is the best Ube coffee in STL, and that's stiff competition. Chicken is wildly delicious. Just go here, the influencers were right

This place is nice. The dining room is pleasantly decorated, I felt instantly comfortable. The store-front is unassuming so I had no idea what I was in for, but I felt like I was whisked away from the south Grand churn into a safe and wholesome place. And the food was good too!

THE. BEST. LECHON. KAWALI. IVE. EVER. HAD.

This establishment is absolutely perfect.

I’ve tried many different Lechon Kawali’s in Hawai’i, California, Arizona, New Jersey & and Texas. Passing through St. Louis on a road trip, never would I have thought that I’d find the BEST Lechon Kawali I’ve ever had in my life. The meat was cooked to perfection, moist and tender while the skin was almost chicharon-esque. Crispy but light and not oily. The entire dish was beautiful I almost didn’t want to touch it because of how nicely presented it was.

The pork adobo was also very tender and flavorful. Both the meat and potatoes were perfect.

All of the pastries (Ube & Buko Pandan Ensaymada, Buko Pandan Supreme croissant & Buko Tart) were perfect as well.

The service we received was top notch. My family & I really felt at home here with everyone we interacted with being so friendly and kind.

Comfortable yet chic ambience. Yesterday, I had the lumpia shanghai and it was crisp and the meat was still unctuous and juicy. Friends got the shish kebabs and they were cooked to perfection. Today, I picked up some delicious macaron and puff pastry. Owner very clearly takes pride in the establishment and its products. It’s also apparent that she recognizes many of her customers! She’s a sweetheart.

If you haven’t been here put it on your list of top places to eat in St. Louis, Missouri. The authentic spot for Filipino food and deserts. The staff treats you like family and I promise for the price and amount of food you will return again and again.

disappointing experience. the pancid noodle dish was extremely dry with maybe 4 oz. of pork in it. The quantities of the pork adobo also minimal.

Stopped in with my family and this restaurant was wonderful! They have a large dining area on the second floor and lots of room if you're bringing a group of people. The food was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed a glass of Kalamansi juice... it reminded me of being back home as a kid. The staff is knowledgeable about their menu, so get out and try something new. As always, please support local.

AMAZING, unforgettable, and top notch experience!!!! Hands down THE BEST & MOST AUTHENTIC cuisine of the beautiful Philippine islands I have ever tasted!!!! The atmosphere, ambience, the cuisine, and the design of this magnificent restaurant was unforgettable! Very welcoming and friendly customer service! I will definitely be back!! I called about 2:10pm on Sunday thinking they may be open until 4/5ish but they were set to close at 3, and the last seating was at 2:30. I didn’t want to bother them so late and planned on returning another day. I decided to stop by, only to see where exactly it was in Tower Grove South, and get a picture of the menu for next time. Walked in a little after 2:30 not planning on eating, and was greeted with a friendly smile and hello. They said no worries come on in! It was my mom (who is from the Philippines), sister, and her two small kids. The food was SO DELICIOUS and full of flavor! I highly recommend the Lechon Kawali! Our waiter was also very nice, friendly, and helpful! I’ve had many dishes in the Philippines and growing up, but was so impressed by the Lechon Kawali and how perfect it was! You have to try it! My mom got the Bistek Tagalog and Pork Adobo to go, my sister had the Shish Kabobs, and her kids had the Longsilogs meal. We also shared the Lumpia Shanghai as an appetizer. I also dabbled in the Pork Adobo and it was soft, succulent, and full of flavor! Presentation of the dishes were very authentic with the banana leaf & rice; felt like I was back in the Philippines! As a Filipino-American, this restaurant and the customer service really impressed me! Looking forward to trying more dishes and returning! Not many places you can find traditional Lutong Bahay dishes! They also have pastries and coffee during the day! Maraming Salamat po!
