Had a very lovely lunch here! The atmosphere was everything I wanted, cute and quaint. The food was delicious (chicken salad sandwich and French onion soup). I ordered 3 cups of tea and all were great! My only recommendation is to absolutely make a reservation.

I was very disappointed with the customer service at Maryann’s Tea Room. I made a reservation for 2 tables of 8 people over a month in advance. Parker called me two days prior to my event to tell me although they could accommodate 2 tables of 8 people, they would not accommodate our 2 tables of 8 people since we were the same party and they closed an 1 1/2 after our reservation. I told him we would be quick and could have 2 separate checks if that would help. He was rude and rather short with me on the phone. Needless to say, I will no longer be visiting this tea room.

Parker called to confirm my reservation was for 2 tables. I immediately called back and said yes that is correct, unless you are able to seat us all together. I told him we would be out by 4:00 and could even do separate checks for each table. Parker was extremely rude and not accommodating. I am extremely disappointed and needless to say I will not be visiting there again.

Overall, this has been the worst dining experience I've had in a very very very long time. My friend and I made reservations for a Sunday brunch after seeing postings on Instagram that showcased delicious photos of food, drinks and the unique look of the place. It took over 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge/say hi after I arrived and standing by the reception area. Not all of the tables were occupied due to Covid, yet it would be courteous to just acknowledged that I'm waiting, as I can see two wait staff working. Then things got worse as it took over 40 minutes to get what we thought was an anticipated Belgian waffle for the tag price, and yet we received the most plain waffle with a side of fruit cup and maple syrup. We thought this was a joke! We waited over 40 minutes for something that we can make ourselves at home for a fraction of what it's worth at this restaurant. The silver lining (which the 1 star represent) of this visit is our waiter who took it upon himself to compensate our drinks, a he can see how disappointed we were. Our intention is to support local business as much as we can during Covid, yet it's also fair for us to get the best value of quality and service.

I adore Mary Ann's! It is one of my most beloved places, where I have celebrated my birthday more than once. Having tea in exquisite surroundings, served with courtesy and decorum, makes me feel like royalty.

I can't recommend Mary Ann's Tea Room enough - seriously. My husband and I went for brunch on a Sunday morning and were so pleasantly surprised by both the quality of food and drink (bottomless cocktails were included with the purchase of any breakfast meal!!) as well as the charming décor and fantastic service! The waffles were some of the best I've ever had and I could have easily hung out here all day. Don't forget to make a reservation (a really nice option since many St. Louis breakfast/brunch joints are first come, first served). I will absolutely be back soon!

I had lunch at the tea room yesterday. The tables are spaced appropriately for Covid. I felt perfectly safe. The tea room is lovely, the staff is kind and helpful, the food was absolutely delicious. It was a delightful afternoon.
