Plantain Girl is back and better than ever. The food we all know and love (or don’t know yet and will love) is in a wonderful new location. Tons of parking, great location. The food as expected was hot, fresh and delicious. I could probably survive on the jibaritos alone. Everything is amazing, mandy and her teams food never lets me down.
Just wanted to update this 5 years in and say that mayo ketchup has evolved into the stadium and the midtown location and is just as good if not better than ever! I’ve been known to get a soccer ticket to get an empanada and leave they’re that good
This local Latin gem feels like stepping into someone’s home kitchen. Every dish is bursting with authentic flavors and made with so much love—it’s true comfort food. The atmosphere is warm, the portions are generous, and you leave feeling like family. A must-visit for anyone craving real, home-cooked Latin meals!

The food is so unique and unlike anything I have ever tried before. Definitely highly recommend the sampler on the starter menu. The sandwich is made with flattened plantain instead of bread. So good. The sauces are to die for.

The food is great
I was really hoping to love this place. Unfortunately I didn’t even like it. It is so so bad. Everything was definitely frozen and thrown into a fryer. ZERO flavor. I mean ZERO. I felt like I was Chewing on rubber. We took maybe three bites and pitched the rest. The only thing I enjoyed was the guava lemonade and even that was mediocre.
Zero customer service from anyone besides the cashier. He was very kind.
Warning, this is NOT Puerto Rican food.

Me and my wife loved the food and it made us feel like we were back on vacation in Puerto Rico again. Chicken and red beans and rice was awesome and the drinks were great. I definitely will be back again.

Great sandwiches!!! Ordered a steak and a chicken sandwich 🥪
I had the grilled chicken bowl and it was delicious. Very generous portions. I had to get a to go box.

The food was amazing and reminds me of home. However, the cleanliness needs to be better (ex: the bathrooms).
This is a wonderful place to eat. Staff is great, food is wonderful.
It's always a great place to eat. The owner is always working to better the menu. The Cubano and impanadas are the best. Love the variety of the menu.
The staff was very friendly, helped me pick out what to get. The food was decent with a nice portion size. The downside was there was way too much pico and it overall lacked flavor. I guess I expect a Latin American place to have some sort of spice
