Mayo & Ketchup completely blew me away. The flavor in every dish was bold, fresh, and honestly way better than I expected when I first walked in. What really stood out were the vegetarian and vegan options — not just “add-ons,” but real dishes with intention and great taste. It’s the kind of spot where you can bring anybody and they’ll find something fire to eat. The restaurant itself is extremely clean, well-kept, and has a welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back. Don’t get me wrong the food is great but the service, they can work on it. This is the second time I come here the first time I felt like the lady that was serving the food was simply rude by just throwing the plates at us. I thought oh well maybe she has a bad day happens to everyone. The second time she did the same thing didn’t even asked if i needed anything else till I told her if i could please get some aji. she came back and threw it on the table. I find that extremely rude.

I came from Virginia and the place looks really nice but the food not everything is good. The rice and beans no salt no flavors and I’m piertorrican. The carne frita same not flavor. And the guy in cashier look he doesn’t like his job. Not kind with us but with white people yes! Maybe I have do came in winter that my skin is white!

This was my first time here. I thought the restaurant had a great feel about. Festive and colorful. I came for lunch so it wasn't overly busy. The service was excellent. All of the food was prepared just right. We had the Queso Frito for an appetizer. Absolutely delicious especially with the Mayoketchup sauce. I had the Steak & Cheese sandwich for a main course. It had lots of meat and cheese. All cooked just right. Didn't get to try any desserts, but the options looked awesome. This is a great lunch spot if you are in the area.

Plantain Girl is back and better than ever. The food we all know and love (or don’t know yet and will love) is in a wonderful new location. Tons of parking, great location. The food as expected was hot, fresh and delicious. I could probably survive on the jibaritos alone. Everything is amazing, mandy and her teams food never lets me down.
Just wanted to update this 5 years in and say that mayo ketchup has evolved into the stadium and the midtown location and is just as good if not better than ever! I’ve been known to get a soccer ticket to get an empanada and leave they’re that good
