The staff was very friendly, helped me pick out what to get. The food was decent with a nice portion size. The downside was there was way too much pico and it overall lacked flavor. I guess I expect a Latin American place to have some sort of spice

I love this place. Been coming here since I moved from California almost 3 years ago and it is consistently delicious and the staff are always nice. On this particular day I came for lunch and had the best arroz con guandules with my ropa vieja that I’ve ever had outside of my family’s cooking. I can’t recommend Mayo Ketchup enough!
Parking: There’s plenty of street parking all around the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: This is a very casual/informal environment so it’s fine for kids.

Just call it what it is , culture appropriation at its finest. The food is ok but missing the puertorican/ Cuban / Dominican flavor from back home .
