This place is delicious. And they have options for my wife's AIP food requests. Very friendly staff.

Mayo Ketchup has some amazing bowls. We tried the topical bowl and the Pernil. Their pulled pork is very tender, juicy, seasoned well but not overly salty. If meat isn’t your thing, they offer jackfruit as a substitute. I really appreciate how their meals are a great balance of fresh flavors. Definitely try the fried plantains if they don’t already come with your meal. They have a subtle flavor and a nice texture. Definitely a nice change from the standard fried sides you can find around town. The front seating area is smaller but they have a larger area in the back with a ton of natural light, so don’t let the view from the street make you think it’s too busy to try. It’s also pretty family friendly. FYI there’s a bit of a step up to get inside, and the back room seating is down several stairs.Overall I’d recommend them for a nice casual and unique dining experience.

Tried this spot for the first ti.e and now I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner. I had the steak and cheese sandwich. It had soooo much flavor, and was just an all around REALLY good sandwich. Thank you, and I will be back!

Great food and service! Everything was fantastic. The empanadas and Cuban sandwich were to die for.

Lots of deeply fried good, which I wasn't expecting (thought it would be lightly fried). Tasted good, but likely bad for my health. My family enjoyed it. Ropa Vieja tasted akin to Birria. Portions were good, especially for

I have dined here a half-dozen times and the food and the service has always been consistently excellent! As a vegetarian there are somewhat limited options for me on the menu, I always get the Vegan Bowl and it is always delicious. You get maduros and tostones which are both plantains prepared in different ways and both are great and taste nothing like the other! Usually it comes with white rice but I have gotten it with yellow rice, as well as with jackfruit which adds some additional substance to the dish but it doesn't really need it because it is already a substantive mix of filling ingredients.Service is walk-up ordering then they assign you to a table and bring the food out. Great location in Lafayette Square overlooking the park, there is always available parking on the street in front of the restaurant.

Meh. Mojo chicken was ok. Not exceptional, but maybe it’s a matter of the flavor profile being heavy on the mayo and white cheese, but it wasn’t really my jam unfortunately.
