I was excited to try Mazaj Meditterranean. The staff were very friendly and polite and it only took about 5 minutes to get my food. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate, which was well portioned but very bland. The rice was also very bland no taste of herbs or other seasonings. The star of the dish was the garlic sauce. Since this place is so new and the staff were so kind and welcoming I will be visiting the restaurant again to try some different offerings.

I was there last week we disappointed ? with the food we ordered, the rice the chicken is very dry No flavor, we have the big plate of appetizers plate and most of it was hummus,they need to improve the quality of food.

I loved my experience at Golden Chicken in St. Peter's, so when I heard the family was opening a new restaurant at the City Foundry, I had to check it out! I'm so glad I did - the chicken shawarma was so flavorful, I would go as far as to say it might be the best shawarma in STL! The rice was also flavorful and perfectly cooked, and I appreciated the attention to details. The service was so good, the girl at the register was very chatty, we had a great conversation about medical school and her nails <3. If you're interested in trying a new restaurant or looking to try mediterranean or Palestinian food, come to Mazaj Mediterranean!
