When my siblings and i walked into McLain's for our annual siblings' night out last night, we were greeted by the bartender and multiple patrons as if we were all great friends. We've never felt more welcome. There's a digital juke box, a pool table , and a shuffle board. I could do without the indoor smoking, but luckily there were only a couple of smokers. What a great little neighborhood bar!

We found MaClain's just after Covid, can't say enough about this place, we were welcomed with open arms, after the first visit they treated us like regulars, enough said, check it out, you will not be disappointed, the old school neighborhood tavern. Thank you Gary for keeping it that way

They have charbroiled burgers, which is a very nice positive and I really appreciate this place for that. If you only care for the food, don't recommend ordering on Thursday nights because they have karaoke nights starting at 9. I don't know if the booze is any good there, I only get to go orders and don't drink.Just know that they're a smoking bar, so if you don't like that, you might want to try somewhere else. It's a small place and the smoke is hard to avoid, especially when busy.Seems like a fun atmosphere if you're into dive bars, especially if you want to hear people try to sing your favorite songs on karaoke night.

Came for the Thursday night karaoke. Had a blast! Everyone was such a great singer, but don't let that intimidate you. There were many regulars, but they were so welcoming and asked our group back, which I hope to do. We got to sing three rounds, which for how busy the night became seems pretty good. The drinks were reasonable, and the bartender and MC were friendly. And the ladies, you know who you are, were AWESOME dealing with another patron being rude. Banded together like that. You love to see it! Highly recommend! Warning: I did have to wash the smoke out of my hair this morning xD

We were looking for a place to watch the U.S.A. and England for the World Cup and couldn’t get in anywhere. We looked these guys up and pulled in. There was no one in the bar except Greg, the bartender and owners son. I was at first disheartens but Greg did everything to accommodate me and my family. The drinks were cold, and the food was great. We had a wonderful experience hanging at this very cool local corner bar! Thanks Greg!

Price jumped on usual order by 4 Dollard, the service was incredibly slow. It took over 10 minutes to even be acknowledged then I felt as I was bothering her. Portions were smaller and overcooked. First bad experience there in 6 visits. I will try 1 more time in 2 or 3 months
