Horrible place to eat now. Served spoiled chicken that when I got home. Smelled so bad when I oped up the to go Styrofoam container. The cheese fries had jalapeño peppers to hide the dirty Grease taste. The grease tasted like they fried rats and roaches with my friesI do not recommend this place to anyone I was wondering why they never have Customers there. Now I know why They need to be investigated and shut down. I’m pretty sure they’re not up to code.

Yesterday we ordered a catfish filet plate and a catfish nugget plate. My husband picks up but what I got for for my filet plate was some form of crusts that had been cooked so hard there was no sign of fish inside (ugh). I called to let them know that wasn't what I ordered. I was told what I received the wrong order the order I had gotten was jack fish. My husband returned with catfish filet. I don't know what has happen up there but the quality has hit rock bottom. I use to look forward to having their fish but never again will they get my money. I would suggest you find someplace else to spend yours.

Food wasn't good. They have the audacity to ask you for extra money for cheese fries or honey hot sauce and don't put it on there. I will never be going back. Go to shark and deli instead for better food and customer service

My last visit may have been today...Ordered 2 Ribeye steaks dinner and 6 wing combo. Steaks were rubbery, couldn't pull meat apart nor cut with a knife. I'm guessing wings were cool because my daughter ate her whole meal while parents look stupid. Called with issue but of course you are not going to get a refund, just a order replacement. STL food is turning trash ??
The fried chicken wings were salty salty and the cheese fries were too salty also. The okra was fine .

Speak easy is a well known spot that has been around in the community for a long time. It's an after-work flow type of place to wind down before going home to prepare for the next day.
