As restaurants get more modern, colder, and prioritize speed over experience, Michael's strikes a value that leaves you wanting to plan another date night there ASAP. Everything was nice and felt like the good experiences of yesteryear: Excellent food, and even better service from someone who genuinely was excited to chat and be part of the crew, add a fun bartender, and a host/manager who seemed to know everyone by name. Best sign of all: It was packed on a Tuesday. It is no surprise when you have a family restaurant where the family actually participates. You should go and experience for yourself.

The best hot wings in town, tasty tiramisu, and some of the friendliest staff around! Received stellar service from Sophia D. on a super crowded night, everything came out hot and delicious. Will be back again soon!!

I do not think I’ve ever had the unbelievable combination of great food and service. Prime rib was incredible as were the wings. Perfect timing by the waitress. I can’t remember having a combination of such good food and service.

My fiancé and my family love it here! We here come a lot, maybe even too much haha. It is a louder and busier environment, but the food is so worth it.

The ONLY thing we have had that we did not like was either the shrimp or chicken picatta, unsure of which one. Other than than, we LOVE their burgers with the soft cheddar on top with fries, their pastitsio, chicken kabobs, lamb, gyros, spanakopita, dolmades, galaktoboureko, goat cheese bake, feta plate, and their Greek salads. The rest of the menu we have yet to try, though we intend to do so! Everyone has always been very kind to us and they are as attentive as they can be when they are very busy.

If you are ok with being patient and dealing with a bit of noise, then I highly recommend you eat here!

I eat here all the time. My only complaint is that I eat here so much that I've had everything on the menu. But I'll say this. You're gonna get the best wings in St. Louis here. The best French Onion soup. The BEST steak sandwich. The best Greek salad. And the desserts are heavenly. No, it's really not a bad place. And the owner is such a delightful nice guy and he knows us now. But I almost wish he would expand. Or get another location. Bc the parking there's a hot mess and it's always packed. So I'd love it if they were to get somewhere out in West County or something to siphon off the crowd. And the service is like INSANE. You sip your water and she's there 2 seconds later topping you off. And it's one of the only places that can accommodate large parties and is open late enough. But that's the issue. I am here every WEEK because of that. So no complaints about the food, the service, the atmosphere (sans the parking), I just wanna get my group to try new things every once in awhile. But hey, if I'm gonna eat somewhere once a week, this isn't a shitty spot to do it. Cafe Nova is the only other Greekish place that really compares to this one but it's too fancy, too out of the way. And it's really not worth the price hike. Michael's is insanely affordable. But yeah. Don't go here TOO often because you'll start to get sick of a really good thing lolol

Cheerful, prompt service. Fast turnover, and the servers hustle. My husband likes their gyros. Their chicken wings are best. I've had. Nice neighborhood atmosphere.

Wings, burger and chicken piccata. All really good. Crispy hot buffalo wings. Thick perfectly cooked medium burger, tasting like steak and piccata w/o too much lemon and pasta. Added a house salad, greek style and really good. Excellent service, place was busy but fun atmosphere. Waited less than 10 minutes for table.

I keep hearing about Michael’s French Onion Soup and had to try it. I started out however with a cup of the Clam chowder (The French Onion soup takes about 15 minutes to prepare.). It was really good. It was nice and thick and the clam pieces were tender and flavorful. It is served with a couple pieces of toasted bread that were nicely seasoned and went well with the chowder.
The French Onion soup was outstanding. It was nice and dark (the way I like it). It also came with a couple of slices of the toasted bread. The cheese was nice and stringy and the onion flavor was deep and rich. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Michael’s Bar and Grill never disappoints. The food is consistently excellent, with every visit delivering the same high quality and great flavors you come back for. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. It’s the kind of place you can rely on for a satisfying meal every single time, which is rare and worth praising. Highly recommended for anyone looking for dependable, top-notch food in a relaxed setting.
