The food was okay but half egg for a ramen bowl and 1 shrimp was bit disappointing!
We visited on a Saturday for late lunch and there was only one waitress on duty. Our order was mistakenly swapped with someone else's, and we had to point it out to get it corrected.

Udon is my favorite here. Tempura is always crispy and light. The nigiri and sashimi is flavorful and fresh. This is my comfort spot when I need noodles!

Come early or make a reservation, we were lucky to get seated at the bar , otherwise, wait times were 45+ mins. Regardless, The food was delicious. I got sushi and my partner got the ramen. The Takoyaki (sp) was the best I've had, but you only get 4 pieces for $9 so we'll try another appetizer the next time we visit.

It's pretty good. Service was very slow from our waitress. She never came over at all. We had to get her attention every time. The rolls were good. Ramen was fine. Our chicken appetizer was burnt. But all in all....7 out of 10. I'd still go back.

Food is reasonably priced and tastes great. Everything from the Hakata Ramen to the Spicy Midtown Ramen is great.
Service can’t be beat. Quick, attentive and polite.

I feel sad for having to lower my review. My husband and I once loved coming here. The last few times we've visited my go-to orders were not good. The sushi was TERRIBLE. Idk who is back there making it now, but they do not know what they're doing. So sloppy. I should've taken pics. The sushi slices were HUGE. You should be able to put an entire slice of sushi in your mouth. This is the way it's supposed to be eaten. These slices were so big it was impossible to eat like that. So here I am trying to bite it in half, and all the filling is falling out. Between this and the couple of other dishes we've tried that we're gross and the gyoza being bland, it's a no-go for me now.
Authentic!!! Best ramen I've tried in STL. I love that they offer "add ons." The menu is flexible. The gyoza could be a little better. They're kind of bland. Atmosphere is ok. Clean and good service. They have a great sake selection! I ordered the chicken teriyaki once, and it wasn't very good. My fiance ordered the chicken korage, and he said it was terrible. On another visit, we noticed someone from another table order the chicken korage, and they didn't touch it. Stick to the sushi and the ramen. Superb!

Dined in for a late lunch here. Enjoyed the flavors of the Udon soup the most. Vegetarian Ramen and Chicken Karaage tasted okay. Felt appetizer was a bit pricey for the portion.
