This place had a cool vibe in terms of decor. However we were basically ignored after we came in and were put on a waiting list to be seated.. even though we were basically sitting at the bar just waiting to be called. There were plenty of open tables.. but they simply didn't seem to be particularly interested in seating new clients and were actively discouraging people who came in after us. we left once we realised that we had waited over 40 minutes for a table to be made...
Excellent food! Shaved tofu a revelation! What a delightful unexpected dining delight where the neon sign pulled me away from my original destination. Very happy I decided to run across the street to fulfill my curiosity.
This is the most delicious food you can buy. From the obviously beautiful plating to the complex yet full flavors that vary from every creative dish Milque Toast is an absolute St. Louis Gem. The staff is gentle and kind to match the delicate yet filling food. Food is so clearly art at this establishment.
