This place rocks! **Five stars all the way.** Mizu Sushi delivers an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. The food was not only beautifully presented but absolutely delicious—every dish felt like it was crafted with care and precision. The sake selection was top-tier, with a range that perfectly complemented the flavors on the table. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable, making the whole evening even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back—this place is a gem.
They Need to Update the business hours cause they closed the kitchen a whole hour before the restaurant closed. When asked if they’d update the hours online? He said No . Inconsistency is unprofessional and an inconvenience. Restaurant smelled funny .
My wife and I arrived at Mizu 20 minutes prior to opening, we went to leave but the owners leapt up to unlock the door and let us in. They told us to seat ourselves and we went for a two top but we're encouraged to take a bigger table given we were the only folks inside. The owner served us and she was exceptionally attentive and kind. We ordered a volcano roll, summer roll, sex and the city roll, and lobster roll. Everything was KILLER. Some of the best sushi I've ever eaten. From the time we entered to the drop of our chop sticks we were only inside for 30 minutes. We closed out our dining experience with some mochi and a deep fried cheesecake which matched the rest of the meal in quality and taste. The rain was coming down and the owner offered to let us hang out as long as needed. I cannot recommend this place enough. By far our favorite meal on our trip to St. Louis so far!
It's not cheap, but it is good sushi. And the staff are excellent!
Omg so we were just randomly looking for a ramen place (never had ramen from a restaurant) and came across this place… omg this place was so delicious the owner was cool as hell… idk if that was her husband but we was funny good sense of humor… we order ramen, sushi, rolls, and Yaki (i think that’s how you spell it) everything was good…my niece said bring your own hot sauce ( color people activity 🤪) but everything was good (p.s. she had a non spicy ramen she just use to ramen and hot sauce ) I mean extremely was good…we will be back

Delicious food, very friendly staff, great location. Highly recommended.
The sushi quality and taste was subpar , to the sushi restaurants i have visited. Granted I am using NYC , ATL , LA & Vegas as my comparisons.

Very small portions.
The waiters were very unfriendly and three out of five credit cards apparently didn't work during the payment process. We were pressured to pay again as quickly as possible and were threatened with the police.

Food was very small portion. Waitress was not happy what we ordered. So if I have the menu I can order what I like. And an absolutely nogo was that 3 out of 5 credit cards was not working. It caused big trouble, we where pushed to do a second payment, Not recommended at all!!!

The atmosphere was so relaxed, the music in the background wasn't so quiet you couldn't hear it or so loud you couldn't have a conversation. The staff was very nice and accommodating. To the point even seeing 2 girls out alone on a Saturday night, the waitress stopped us from ordering more drinks rather than rack up a bigger bill, we felt mothered in a sweet endearing way. The sushi was incredible, no fishy taste or smell. The salmon was buttery, the hand roll was perfect. I'll go here every single time I'm in St Louis from here on out. It's a beautiful spot!
