Woulda been five... But their "free popcorn" after subscribing to their emails is a bed of lies... No free popcorn... Now I get nothing but garbo emails.

Place is a treasure. I miss living right beside it. They have couches in the movie theater, and before the movies a man plays an organ while they cast colored patterns of light on the ceiling. They have television series nights in the side rooms beside the bar with things like walking dead, and other hot shows. The bar is quaint, and awesome. Below it they have a small bowling alley that has promo nights for $2 games. Like I said. . . TREASURE!

If you want a fancy night at the movies, this is the place to go. Great menu and drink list and incredibly comfortable seating.

This building is beautiful. The use of space in this multi purpose centrally located and historic venue is two ????thumbs up.They have a bowling alley in the bowels of the building. A leather loveseating full screen theater, a bar with an awesome bartender and a mini dvd or vcr space for gatherings.

Love the layout and concession options

I really enjoy this casual theatre. They have big, comfy couches that make me feel like I'm at home. They are well warn, but still comfortable. The employees were friendly. The ticket prices are great. My only complaint would be rowdy movie goers, but that can happen at any theatre.

If they’re playing a movie you like and you’re in the neighborhood, the Moolah is a great place to see it. Not too crowded, a full bar, and decent ticket prices.

Another must for me during my visit to STL. The Moolah not only has the cheapest drinks in town, but one of the best bartenders and crowds. It was a Hatewatch night at the bar and it was a blast. I got a Manhattan to drink and that was able to last me the night. This is one of the places that I think is a must for any visitors to the area who are looking for things to do that aren't touristy. Tip: Get a Dogtown pizza from the concession counter and take it into the bar with you. Nothing better than a pizza and a drink!

This theater is in a beautiful auditorium with incredible details, but to get to watch a movie sitting on a sofa with my date was great. There is a 'lobby bar' and you can bring your cocktails right in with you!

What a unique and awesome experience. I've never watched a movie like this before. Concessions are great, the ticket prices can't be beat, and all in an incredible and historic building. A must stop in STL!

First time visiting this place— my wife and I went to see Bad Boys 3, I loved the theatre. The couches made it so cozy! I brought in a cover (which I Always do when I go to the movies) and it made it feel like I was at home watching the movie on my big screen. They do not have seating reservations or anything so you will have to get there early to get a good couch seat. If not they also have regular seating in the back. Overall nice place! And I would recommend. Also their food was pretty good I had ravioli and not too expensive. Their popcorn was AMAZING!!!
