We were visiting from Ohio. Decided to Stop in to here to get something to eat before heading back home. We were seated within 10 minutes. However we sat for 20 minutes before a waiter came over to greet us & give menus. After that it took about another 20 minutes before he came back with water and to take our order. Once our order was taken, I had to keep calling for our waiting to bring refills. My food was brought out maybe an hour after we placed the order. My fries were cold, but my salmon bites were hot & they were good. My spouse food was never brought out. The waiter finally came over probably 40 minutes later after i already received my food & said it should be out in less than 5 minutes somebody stole your plate. We sat 5 minutes passed , 10 minutes passed , 15 minutes passed. 20 minutes passed. 22 minutes later he brought it out, however it wasn’t even made right, he didn’t eat it , We just decided to leave . It was a lot going on in there & Very unorganized. I wouldn’t go back nor would I recommend.

What can I say...after a wait over 30 minutes for any server to assist us. Please keep in mind our first time here. After our wait was over Server Ms. Whittney came in clock-in, and attended to us. The food was to die for. Thank you again Ms. Whittney. After the dusk settles here come in the owner Mr. Derran I believe. Stop his important meeting with his brokers. Attention to detail. Is what will make me comeback! After Mr. Derran left our table I forget about whatever happen. Came in town for our Mental Health First Aid Instructor summit, and this was walking distance from our hotel! The portions were definitely big and enough to share. The food was great. I had fried salmon bites and pasta and frozen margarita. Manager Lala was amazing! Great customer service & food!

Unapologetically bad service.First time I was there, everyone at my table food was brought out except for mine.Second time, they brought out the wrong order. The server continuously tells me I told her the wrong thing, instead of taking accountability.Takes soooo long for food to come.Too expensive for food to be brought out cold.Pasta needs more sauce.Egg rolls greasy.I wanted to try to support, but they need to hire better people and develop a system to provide HOT food faster.

I had the catfish and grits at brunch. Loved them! I got my catfish fried hard. The catfish and the sauce were outstanding ?? The portions are huge. Definitely took a box home. Mine came with eggs, too. Again...portion size big. My eggs were on point. I did use hotsauce...lol, but I always do. ❤️ my ppp includes tip.

HORRIBLE. Came here during the longest brunch for the first time and THE LAST TIME. Came with a big appetite and hadn’t eaten all day just to experience. They failed at everything from the top to the bottom.Ordered wings and French toast, the server came back over an hour later w my friends fries and salmon and informed me that they had just dropped the chicken. I declined for them to even finish cooking it and just asked that they remove the meal. My friend fries came out cold TWO TIMES then the salmon bites are overly breaded, looks like a hush puppy. No apology from the owner no nothing. I despise supporting black businesses, they don’t get customer service. Go to Chris on the docket instead PLEASE

Mozay is located in the heart of downtown St. Louis and it’s quickly becoming one of our lunch staples.When you walk in, the music is always a vibe. It’s like a daytime party. You’ll want to sing and dance at times. It’s a laid back chill spot.The food is fantastic. The salmon and grits, Cajun shrimp pasta, salmon burger and shrimp and grits are all favorites. I would say this is a Cajun spot.Service is a little slow but chef is creating masterpieces back there so the wait is worth it.

We are from out of town and this place was highly recommended on TikTok and it did NOT disappoint!The vibes were immaculate. The music was better than any restaurant and just made the flow so fun. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Our waitress gave great suggestions that surpassed our expectations and the owner was so sweeetly walking around helping and interacting with the whole restaurant! And the food?! Where, I’m from, we don’t have food that compares! The bourbon wings and fries had flavor like no other, and both seafood pastas we got were perfect.This place is a MUST when going to St. Louis! The hospitality and quality of food exceeded our expectations. We willlll be back!

First , my waitress came out half dressed. They DID NOT have over half of the items that were on their menu. After waiting at least an hour I NEVER received my food, so I ended up canceling my order. Certain simple items some if my family ordered (fries, mashed potatoes, ect.) they waited FOREVER to get. They need to do better
